Dalla Fortezza di Petrovaradin, avrete una vista indimenticabile di tutta la città di Novi Sad. Passeggiando per le strade più antiche della "Atene serba", ammirando magnifici edifici barocchi, classici, neogotici e facciate colorate, vi innamorerete della sua atmosfera di grazia e dei suoi abitanti. La sosta per il pranzo tradizionale è prevista intorno alle 13 (a proprie spese). Vi mostreremo il parco nazionale più antico della Serbia – Fruska Gora. Mentre ci godiamo i paesaggi delle sue splendide piste, visiteremo il monastero Krusedol o monastero New Hopovo. La nostra prossima tappa sarà la piccola città di Sremski Karlovci dove visiteremo il più antico liceo della Serbia, la famosa fontana "4 leoni", e la cattedrale ortodossa. Alla fine di questa emozionante avventura, andremo alla cantina locale. Quello rosso era un drink ITe favor dell'imperatrice Maria Teresa e la leggenda dice che fu venduto anche sul Titanic!

Dalla Fortezza di Petrovaradin, che ci sta aspettando, che si erge orgogliosa sul bordo della riva del Danubio, avrai una vista indimenticabile dell'intera città di Novi Sad. Qualche secolo fa la fortezza era il confine tra oriente e occidente, tra due grandi imperi, e ancora oggi i suoi cunicoli sotterranei custodiscono molti segreti. Oggi tra le sue forti mura si svolge uno dei più grandi festival musicali d'Europa "Exit".
Passeggiando per le strade più antiche di Novi Sad, ammirando magnifici edifici barocchi, classici, neogotici e facciate colorate. Ti innamorerai della sua atmosfera di grazia e dei suoi abitanti che, anche in quest'epoca di comunicazioni veloci, hanno conservato la tranquillità e la gentilezza naturale. Immagina come hanno convinto l'imperatrice Maria Teresa a vendergli una città per 80000 fiorini ungheresi! E da allora è stato a lungo il centro culturale dei serbi, ancora chiamato "Atene serba". La pausa per il pranzo tradizionale è prevista intorno alle 13:00 (a proprie spese).
A tranquillo guardiano della città e di tutta questa regione, in una lontana preistoria elevata come un'isola dall'immenso mare pannonico, si trova il monte Fruska Gora, che oggi è il parco nazionale più antico della Serbia. Mentre ci godiamo i paesaggi dei suoi splendidi pendii, visiteremo New Hopovo, uno dei più importanti monasteri ortodossi della montagna. Più in profondità nella foresta troveremo un monumento dedicato ai caduti della Seconda Guerra Mondiale chiamato simbolicamente – La Libertà.
Seguendo le tracce della più grande migrazione del popolo serbo dalla fine del XVII secolo, arriveremo a Sremski Karlovci. Passeggiando per il liceo più antico della Serbia, la famosa fontana "4 leoni" e la cattedrale ortodossa, risolveremo l'enigma: qual è l'altro sole che la gente di questa irresistibile cittadina afferma di avere? Alla fine di questa emozionante avventura, andremo alla cantina locale dove, oltre a vari vini di alta qualità, avrai l'opportunità unica di provare il Bermet, un vino da dessert e speziato, prodotto solo in questa regione. Quella rossa era la bevanda preferita dell'imperatrice Maria Teresa e la leggenda dice che fu venduta anche sul Titanic! Nota: le restanti ore saranno per lo più trascorse a Novi Sad poiché hai tempo libero per lo shopping e la pausa pranzo.

Milos was an excellent tour guide and a wealth of history and knowledge. Very interesting tour! There is more to Serbia than Belgrade, and this gives you a glimpse of it! The cat at the winery is so friendly! Very nice surprise to find lavender gelato in old Novi Sad!
The very friendly and knowledgeable guide took us from Belgrade and one interesting place to another in a comfortable car, ending up in Novi Sad. He always had an interesting story and details. Definitely worth the time and money!

I used the transfer in and out and private tour for two days both in Belgrade and to visit the surroundings of the city. The guide who accompanied us on both days, Nevena, was incredible, very knowledgeable about the history and an excellent person. Milos who made the transfer and guided us around the surroundings was very friendly and the vehicle was of excellent quality. They were super punctual and gave great tips on bars, restaurants, shopping...

I apologize first because I do not recall our tour guide's name, but if it is any consolation prize, I am still thinking about this tour enough to write this review a few weeks later. Prior to our visit to Serbia, I wasn't sure what to visit at first. A few Reddit threads I saw mentioned Novi Sad so we booked this tour because it sounded interesting. And it sure was, I felt by the end I knew a foundational about of Serbian history. As someone who loves history, this was important to me. I've worked as a tour guide in the past at museums and historic sites, and was genuinely amazed by our tour guide. The in-depth information he shared with us from start to finish was perfect. While Novi Sad and the monastery were the two main highlights that interested me, my favorite part ended up being the wine tasting. This is saying a lot because I am not a wine drinker. It was a great moment that we shared with everyone in our tour while learning a little bit about regional agriculture as we drank local wine and ate local cheese. It was also fantastic walking around Novi Sad on our own and with a mini tour. I do not believe it would've been the same if I visited without a guide. Our guide made sure we had an understanding of the impact of the Austro-Hungarian Empire on Serbia, which you could see built into the architecture of this city.
