We had a wonderful tour to Naoshima Island with Emi. She was a fabulous tour guide, friendly and knowledgeable. She knew exactly where to be and when to make boarding the ferry and buses quick and easy for us. She was so helpful giving us tips and information for the rest of our stay in Takamatsu, she even gave us a map she had drawn herself with places she recommended for us to see and where to eat. She has a bright and bubbly personality, we thoroughly enjoyed our day with her and would highly recommend her tour.

We booked a tour to Naoshima Island with Emi, a licensed tour guide in Takamatsu. It was a wonderful and informative experience. Emi was friendly, knowledgeable and very professional. She planned a wonderful tour where every step was timed brilliantly to pack in as much as possible - but without rushing. She brought us to the Chichu Art Museum, the Benesse House Museum and then we explored the Art Project houses in Honmura. Emi also has a great sense of humour so we had an enjoyable day. She is one of the best tour guides I have ever met and I would heartily recommend her.

Naoshima is a beautiful island and to fully appreciate it we felt a guide was the best idea. Luckily EMI was our angel guide, she met us at UNO port and we didn’t look back. She was the most friendly articulate person with such a lovely disposition, her knowledge and appreciation of the island, the buildings and the art work was exceptional. I would highly recommend her services to make the most the the experience.

Emi was very friendly and we got to know eachother through our shared love of anime and music. She came to meet us at our hotel in the morning and took us to the ferry to the Naoshima island. We were able to explore 3 art museums and had lunch at the Chichu museum. She planned out the most efficient route for us for the day, so we could see as much as possible. I highly recommend booking Emi to be your tour guide!

We had a wonderful experience in Naoshima, departing from Takamatsu: Emi was an outstanding guide with excellent English skills who had already contacted us to know our preferences before the tour. Her knowledge about Naoshima, the museums and the artworks was impressive, and her warm and kind personality made the day even more enjoyable.

Emi is a great guide. It would have been impossible for us to see as much as we did without her. Incredibly knowledgable and knows all the short cuts and how to maximize the experience. Absolutely worth it!

My tour guide was Emi, and she was the perfect guide ever! She picked me up from the hotel on the morning of the tour and accompanied me throughout the day. She gave me lots of tips that weren't even related to the tour, like which restaurant to eat dinner at, based on my taste in food. And she gave me lots of general information about Japanese culture and traditions in general. Beyond that, she had a lot of knowledge about Naoshima Island, its buildings and architecture, its history, and of course all the museums and artworks there. She conveyed the knowledge professionally and with a lot of humor, and i had a super fun day with her. She is a smart, funny and interesting woman. Very generous. She gave me a personal gift when we met and a map of the island that she made herself! She took pictures of me throughout the day, and I really felt like I was touring with an old friend. Also she accompanied me until I got in a taxi back to the hotel. Highly recommended!!!

It became obvious that to undertake this trip without a guide would be difficult EMI was excellent in every way and made the trip relatively easy and very enjoyable We would recommend her to others

It was fantastic. EMI is a wonderful guide. Very knowledgeable but also friendly funny and kind. I loved spending time with her. She made my day at Naoshima memorable in all the best ways. She had planned ahead to ensure I had the best experience. The only issue was that I didn’t realise you need cash on these little islands. She offered to lend me some but I managed to get by. I would recommend Emi to any traveller. She speaks beautiful English.
