(Su richiesta) La città vecchia di Mykonos (Chora) ti impressionerà con la sua bellezza e il suo stile assoluti. La città di Mykonos, chiamata Chora dalla gente del posto, è un tradizionale villaggio delle Cicladi costruito attorno a una baia. Le auto non sono ammesse nel cuore dell'insediamento per gran parte della giornata, il che rende particolarmente piacevole la passeggiata tra le strade labirintiche, soprattutto nelle prime ore del mattino.
L'insediamento costiero di Agios Ioannis si trova sul lato sud-ovest dell'isola, a una distanza di 5 km dalla città di Mykonos. In questa zona sono state girate scene del film Shirley Valentine.

Il faro o Pharos Armenistis si erge come una sentinella sull'area dal 1891.Il Faro di Armenistis (Faros Armenistis)si erge nel suo silenzio, in omaggio alla ricca storia marittima dell'isola di Mykonos pur rimanendo oggi perfettamente funzionante.Situato nella parte nord-occidentale dell'isola, nella zona di Fanari, a circa 6,5 chilometri da Chora (città di Mykonos) sulla strada costiera nord dell'isola, il faro si affaccia sul tratto di scintillante acqua blu tra Mykonos e la vicina isola di Tinos.
Agios Sostis a Mykonos è tra le spiagge più tranquille dell'isola grazie alla sua posizione, un po' lontana dalle rumorose spiagge del sud di Mykonos. Si tratta di un'area incontaminata e priva di tutti i servizi, caratteristica che fa sentire i visitatori totalmente liberi. Sulla strada per la spiaggia, vedrai la chiesa di Agios Sostis con la sua incomparabile bellezza.
Il Monastero di Paleokastro a Mykonos si trova su una collina vicino ad Ano Mera, il secondo villaggio di Mykonos, in uno dei punti più verdi dell'isola. Comprende un convento di suore (monastero femminile) e risale al XVIII secolo. La sua architettura è tipica delle Cicladi. I
Ano Mera a Mykonos è il secondo villaggio più grande dopo Chora (città principale) ed è uno dei villaggi più antichi dell'isola. È un villaggio tranquillo dove la gente del posto continua la sua vita quotidiana senza essere interrotta da una folla di turisti come accade nella capitale. Vicino ad Ano Mera si trova il monastero di Panagia Tourliani la cui chiesa principale ospita una superba collezione di icone realizzate da un pittore cretese come nonché vasi sacri e paramenti sacri. Nel cortile si trovano il bellissimo campanile e la fontana in marmo, da vedere. Ano Mera ospita anche alcune taverne lungo la sua piazza principale, dove si possono gustare piatti tradizionali a un costo normale. Intorno alla piazza si trovano anche caffè e pasticcerie.
La costruzione del Monastero fu fondata nel 1542 da due sacerdoti e prende il nome dalla Presentazione della Beata Vergine Maria. L'architettura dell'edificio è piuttosto impressionante, con un esterno imbiancato a calce e una cupola colorata. Una bella fontana di marmo si trova nel cortile fuori dalla chiesa. All'interno si incontra un'imponente iconostasi lignea (schermo d'altare) realizzata nel 1775 da artisti fiorentini.
Divounia, che alcuni locali chiamano "Seni di Venere": sembrano seni. È un'area che era quella di una volta. un piccolo insediamento di pescatori, la cosa più vicina ad un villaggio di pescatori che Mykonos abbia! Al mattino, indipendentemente dal periodo dell'anno, si possono realizzare molte immagini autentiche di pesca, che raramente si vedono in posti come Mykonos e che forse non si potrebbe nemmeno immaginare che esistano a Mykonos.
L'attrazione nascosta che esplorerai con noi è un luogo conosciuto solo dai residenti permanenti di Mykonos. Sicuramente scatterai le tue foto migliori lì. La vista ti affascinerà.

We wanted to see the island on our first full day. This tour was perfect. He took us to the places that were highlights as well as some other great stopping points for pictures. It was tailored to leave out a spot or two that we were visiting later in our visit. However, he made sure to show us his own favorite spots on Mykonos. Do not miss out on the Lighthouse and being able to have such a nice and professional guide customize a tour. Excellent experience!
Alex was a fantastic guide who truly wanted to make sure the experience matched everything we were hoping for. He even stopped and bought us a coffee and a bottle of water as well. We saw many places in Mykonos that the larger tours don’t take you to. Alex felt like an old friend and was a great host.

My husband and I booked this tour at 11 pm the night before our visit to Mykonos. That being said, we weren't expecting too much. Our tour guide Perry was very nice. We were 15 minutes late because there was a line to get off our cruise ship to get a tender to the island. He was very gracious about it and let us know that he had another tour starting at 11, so he would have to cut the tour short which, of course, we understood. We chose a 2 hour tour, so he drove us all around the island to the different neighborhoods and stopped at all the best picture spots. We had the added bonus that he was a professional photographer and indeed our pictures from Mykonos are some of the best from our 2 week trip! We did feel he was speeding on the streets in between stops, but we think it was due to our being late and the amount of traffic in the popular areas which was significant. We also got stuck behind an ATV tour which delayed us. He didn't get into the history of the island, which is always interesting to us, but he was young and maybe that is not everyone's cup of tea. Aside from that, we had a beautiful day in Mykonos and got to see most of the island thanks to our tour!

The tour operator/ driver was a wonderful informative driver. The island itself does not need a full 4/5 hours unless you are dropped off at a beach location. Overall recommend but value for the tour is a bit on the higher end !

We would like to clarify that the island offers far more to explore than can be covered in just a few hours, and many visitors find that even 4–5 hours is not enough to fully appreciate it. During your visit, a considerable part of the available time was spent at a local taverna by personal choice, which naturally limited the time dedicated to sightseeing and exploring the island. For this reason, we feel it may be difficult to fully assess whether 4–5 hours on the island is too much time, as the tour was not experienced in its entirety as most guests choose to do. Fortis gave us an amazing tour of his island Mykonos! His ability to navigate all of the narrow roads was so good, as he has lived here his whole life. We saw the light house, got our feet in the water at a beautiful beach and went to a gorgeous monastery. Fotis even treated us to refreshments at his favorite bakery and the coins that we would need for the bathroom. Highly recommend this private tour where he were picked up and dropped off right from our hotel 😀👍
