Bruce was excellent. His knowledge of the culture and history of China was so informative. He answered all our questions with great detail. He was thoughtful to our needs especially as it was very hot. I would definitely recommend booking Bruce as an English guide. A brilliant day. Thank you Bruce. The first visit to the Lakeside Great Wall of China was perfect. The views were spectacular and it was quiet. It was like having a private tour of the wall. The second stop was a little busier but no less impressive.

Attentive and punctual team. It adapted to the weather conditions. The Great Wall of Mutianyu is very accessible by cable car, the walk is easy to post 19, then it climbs! The Great Wall is impressive and must be seen. Our French-speaking guide Mr. Yang accompanied us all day, endlessly knowledgeable about both Chinese and French culture. Very good hearty meal.

Our tour guide Cathy made our Great Wall experience genuinely one of the highlights of our trip. They picked us up from our hotel right on time and were friendly without being over the top, just easy, comfortable company for the day. What really stood out was how knowledgeable our guide Cathy was, she pointing out details we never would have noticed on our own and sharing fascinating stories that made the history feel real rather than like a textbook lesson. She kept us well fed and hydrated throughout the day, which was perfect. The drive over was actually enjoyable, with interesting conversation and full helpful context about what we were about to see. We were also able to hear all the Chinese history stories, and she was able to answer every question we asked! Once we were up on the Wall, the views were simply stunning with vast mountain ranges rolling off in every direction. If you're planning a Great Wall visit, having a guide like Cathy makes all the difference and we'd highly recommend them.
