Great experience on the great wall of China. Mike, our guide, was super helpful and explained the history of the wall bringing us back in time. Recommend everyone traveling to Beijing to take the tour and see the best parts of the great wall
We received a thorough WhatsApp confirmation one day ahead of our Mutianyu trip, covering all useful travel details. Our tour guide John was incredibly professional, speaking fluent standard English. He broke down complex Great Wall history into easy-to-follow explanations, and we could buy cable car and toboggan tickets from him at the exact same price as official booths. Mubus owns a separate building near the station with an air-conditioned lounge on the ground floor. Free bottled water, various teas and light snacks are provided for all tourists, such thoughtful touches made our waiting time relaxing before heading to the spectacular Great Wall.
We enjoyed a wonderful one-day trip to Mutianyu Great Wall with great arrangements. We had a satisfying buffet lunch before sightseeing, featuring a wide variety of hot dishes, cold snacks, staple foods and fresh drinks. The food was rich and delicious, fully preparing us for the walk. Although the scenic spot was packed with summer visitors and the cable car queue was long, the cloudy and cool weather made climbing very comfortable. We received clear instructions on self-climbing routes and key photo spots, and all cable car and luge tickets were pre-booked in advance. Guide John provided very attentive and professional service throughout the whole journey, making our trip smooth, relaxed and absolutely worthwhile.

We were clearly informed about self-tour paths and must-see scenic landmarks. The cloudy weather kept us cool in the morning, but getting a bit hot in the afternoon. Guide John was highly reliable and considerate, delivering wonderful service that made our trip flawless.

We learned so much and had a fantastic time there. Mubus has its own facility with a fantastic buffet restaurant on the first floor offering a wide selection of food. We took a cruise boat and leisurely admired the distant views of the Summer Palace, which was absolutely memorable. John told us plenty of historical stories and details about royal life during our trip. Later we headed to Mutianyu Great Wall. We were lucky to avoid rain there. The scenery on the Great Wall was stunning and spectacular. It was truly an amazing experience, and we highly recommend this tour!
Great experience with Mr. Mike! He is hilarious and speaks English very well! He gave consistent jokes through the ride and tidbits of historical facts. He clearly explained the rules and regulations you must follow and answers any concern you may have. If you are a first time traveler heading to the Great Wall I cannot recommend Mutianyu area enough with Mr. Mike!
