Ho aggiunto speciali alcune strade di paese a questo tour per vedere in giro con la natura, piante, alcuni uccelli, animali. L'orario del tour cambia in base ai membri del gruppo. questo è uno storico albero sacro (Ficus religiosa) nel giardino Mahamewuna ad anuradapura
Lovamahapaya è un edificio situato tra Ruwanweliseya e Sri Mahabodiya nell'antica città di Anuradhapura, Sri Lanka. È noto anche come Palazzo di Bronzo o Lohaprasadaya perché il tetto era ricoperto di tegole di bronzo.
Il Ruwanweli Maha Seya, noto anche come swarnamali maha seya (lett. "Il Grande Thupa"), è uno stupa (una struttura emisferica contenente reliquie) ad Anuradhapura, Sri Lanka. Due quarti o una Dona delle reliquie del Buddha sono custodite nello stupa, rendendolo la più grande collezione di reliquie del Buddha in assoluto.[1] Fu costruito dal re singalese Dutugemunu nel c. 140 a.C., che divenne re dello Sri Lanka dopo una guerra in cui fu sconfitto il re Chola Elāra (Ellalan).
Kuttam Pokuna (stagni gemelli o piscine) sono antiche vasche o stagni balneari ben conservati nello Sri Lanka.
Il Buddha Samadhi è una famosa statua situata nel parco Mahamevnāwa ad Anuradapura. La postura di meditazione associata alla sua prima illuminazione. Questa statua è alta 7 piedi e 3 pollici e scolpita in marmo di granito.
Abhayagiri Vihāra era un importante monastero del buddismo Theravada, Mahayana e Vajrayana situato ad Anuradhapura, nello Sri Lanka.
questo luogo di elemosina Situato vicino all'Uttara Mula, è considerato il refettorio principale del Monastero Abayagiri. Si tratta di un edificio quadrato con 42,7 m di lato. Durante gli scavi del sito sono state trovate quattro fasi di costruzione risalenti al I secolo aC. È possibile vedere alcune canoe di riso.
Sandakada Pahana, noto anche come Moonstone, è una caratteristica unica dell'architettura dell'antico Sri Lanka.[1][2][3] Si tratta di una lastra di pietra semicircolare riccamente scolpita, solitamente posta alla base delle scale e degli ingressi. Visto per la prima volta nell'ultima fase del periodo Anuradhapura, il sandakada pahana si è evoluto attraverso il periodo Polonnaruwa, Gampola e Kandyan. Secondo gli storici, il sandakada pahana simboleggia il ciclo del Samsāra nel buddismo.
Questo gigantesco stagno artificiale chiamato "Eth Pokuna" o "Stagno degli elefanti" è situato vicino a Lankaramaya ad Anuradhapura. Si tratta di uno stagno rettangolare, lungo 159 metri, largo 52,7 metri e profondo 9,5 metri, con una capacità di contenimento di 75.000 metri cubi d'acqua. Eth Pokuna significa letteralmente "Lo stagno degli elefanti" a causa delle sue dimensioni. Questo fa parte del paesaggio del massiccio monastero di Abhayagriya che si estende su 500 acri. La vasca è costituita da grandi blocchi di pietra impilati ad angolo lungo le pareti. Ci sono 3 rampe di scale verso il basso, nei lati sud, nord ed est. Il fondo non è asfaltato.

Un edificio coloniale britannico del 1937 offre una sede adeguatamente regale per alcuni dei tesori trovati a Jetavanarama.

The tour with Ajee was amazing! You can choose your pace so we went at a very relaxed pace and ended up spending all day around the heritage site. He provided snacks, coffee, water and lunch which was all delicious. He is very passionate about Buddhism and gave us lots of information. Sometimes he speaks fast but you can ask any questions and he is happy to answer or repeat. It is a shared group tour. You can also book directly through him via WhatsApp +94 71 925 3542
We spent more than 4 hours with Ajee today. Pick-up 2 steps from the site with bikes. There were 5 of us with our grown children and he was particularly attentive to answering all our questions about the site, about Buddhism, and even about some first meditation exercises for one of our daughters! Ultra interesting guided tour to understand the site and the history, very pleasant bike ride, stop to drink because it was very hot. Frankly to be recommended with your eyes closed. Thanks again

We had such a great tour with Ajee, he is very flexible to work around your timeframe for the day. His passion and knowledge of the world heritage sites and Buddhism is exceptional. We also were treated to a delicious Sri Lankan morning tea and lunch to finish off the tour. We biked around 10km but you can do more or less. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone. Very good tour. Ajee is very knowledgeable about everything. He could answer any and all questions. His English is amazing and he seems to really care about all his customers. He supplied delicious snacks and even an amazing lunch at a local restaurant. Highly recommend if you want true knowledge about Sri Lankan Buddhism and a very intimate tour that can cater to any needs.

Ajee is full of knowledge and an amazing guide. We asked him a million questions and he always had an answer and with very good English as well. He continually gave us water and made sure we weren’t too hot or hungry and even took us to an amazing local spot for lunch after. 10/10

Ajee offered us a very beautiful discovery of Anuradhapura, both in terms of the temples and their history; he helped us better understand the philosophy of Buddhism. We tasted typical dishes. We had an excellent day with Adee; he adapted to our pace. He has extensive knowledge of architecture, history, and Buddhist culture. Going from temple to temple by bike is a fun way to keep the kids entertained. Adee is a very friendly and cool person. We recommend him 200%, he is the best.
