L'Henry M. Jackson Memorial Visitor Center è il principale centro visitatori del parco nazionale. L'edificio è facile da trovare e accoglie i visitatori dal parcheggio superiore. Questa zona del parco è aperta tutto l'anno. C'è qualcosa da vedere e sperimentare in tutte le nostre stagioni.

Ad un'altitudine di piedi 6,400, Sunrise è il punto più alto che può essere raggiunto in auto nel Parco nazionale del Monte Rainier. In estate, i prati di montagna abbondano di fiori di campo. Nelle limpide giornate estive, Sunrise offre viste mozzafiato sul Monte Rainier e sul ghiacciaio Emmons. Sunrise Point offre viste quasi a 360 gradi delle valli circostanti, del Monte Rainier e di altri vulcani della Cascade Range come il Monte Adams. Questi panorami e un eccellente sistema di sentieri fanno di Sunrise il secondo luogo più visitato del parco.

The guide provided very little information about Mount Rainier, making it feel like a basic shuttle service rather than a guided tour. The lack of professionalism was disappointing.

It is essentially a recommended schedule, and you rent a driver and vehicle for 8 to 12 hours.
