Lago panoramico sulla strada per la Montagna
La sosta viene effettuata qui solo quando le strade sono chiuse inaspettatamente nel parco. In questa piccola città ci sono diversi punti di interesse: la pensione Hobo, la storica chiesa luterana, la ferrovia panoramica del Monte Rainier e il più grande sasquatch che abbiate mai visto.

Un sogno per gli abbracciatori di alberi: percorriamo un sentiero ad anello di 400 metri attraverso vecchi giganti forestali in crescita, vecchi di centinaia di anni.
Piccoli laghi alpini disponibili solo per vedere in stagione escluso il periodo invernale. Quando non c'è brezza il riflesso della montagna sembra uno specchio e le foto scattate sembrano false (soggette a modifiche in base alle condizioni meteorologiche e stradali).
Disponibile solo durante i mesi estivi. Questa fermata sostituirebbe la fermata al Paradiso. NON tutte le guide offrono questo itinerario. Le fermate qui sono rare e speciali e potrebbero non essere disponibili nella data del tour. La strada è dissestata

- Adatto a tutti i livelli di forma fisica
- Si consiglia di vestirsi a strati e indossare scarpe comode da passeggio (si preferiscono scarpe da trekking impermeabili, in inverno sono meglio gli scarponi). In novembre - giugno, si prega di vestirsi per le condizioni di neve. Porta un paio di calze extra
- ATTENZIONE: durante i mesi invernali si corre un rischio. Il percorso e l'itinerario del tour varieranno a seconda delle condizioni meteorologiche e delle chiusure stradali. Nessun rimborso sarà offerto a meno che il parco non sia chiuso.
- Si applicano i numeri minimi. C'è la possibilità di cancellazione dopo la conferma se non ci sono abbastanza passeggeri per soddisfare i requisiti. Nel caso in cui ciò si verifichi, ti verrà offerto un rimborso alternativo o completo
- Le stagioni, il tempo e l'altitudine determinano in parte ciò che vedrai nel tuo tour. Durante i giorni feriali, metà ottobre-aprile, ci sono limitati servizi di ristorazione disponibili nel Parco Nazionale. I clienti avranno la possibilità di acquistare cibo lungo il percorso. The tour was an incredible. We flew from way of out town and would have never been able to navigate & drive the hilly roads to get to the site. Mt. Rainier was beautiful and our tour guide, Kevin, was incredible. Learned a lot and was able to see so much in so little time. Thank you, once in a lifetime experience!
It’s a very good tour, very convenient with easy timely pick up at our hotel. Mt Rainier been very close to Seattle afforded more time at the park. We had a stop at a local supermarket so that we could buy our lunch, snacks and drinks for our time at the park. Tour company provided coolers to keep our drinks and lunch sandwiches. Tour company provided water to make sure we stayed hydrated trough our day and hikes. Our tour guide Lucas was excellent well informed and very patient in answering all our questions which made for a very pleasant day.

Very flexible based on personal preference. I had a blast and felt like I made the most of my day. Cory was a great guide! Full of knowledge and super personable. As a solo traveler I never felt left out/behind.

I think me and my sister just weren't the target audience for this tour (we are both in our 20s). We took this tour as an attempt to get transport to the park and some interesting information. Kind of going for basically a glorified ranger hike with transit. This tour is mostly spent on the bus, hopping on and off for very quick photo ops. The longest spent off the bus is 1.5-2 hours for a quick hike on your own. The tour guide didn't provide as much information as we would've liked and was clearly pretty grumpy about the amount of stupid questions he clearly receives on a regular basis (albeit that aspect was funny). If you just want a quick overview of the entire park, some photo ops, and basic information then this is probably right for you. It just wasn't right for us.

Absolutely loved this tour! I was in Washington for work and chose to spend my day off exploring Mount Rainier, and it was definitely the highlight of my trip. The weather was cloudy and foggy, but that didn’t take away from the experience at all. The trail was beautiful and really fun, and there was so much to see and do throughout the day. There was some confusion with the meeting point at the beginning, but the guide was incredibly flexible and waited for me in a nearby town so I could still join the tour. I really appreciated his patience and help. Overall, an amazing experience and absolutely worth it. I’m so glad I chose to spend my day off this way!
