I really enjoyed it... my guides were very good and the hotel was great too. Everything was very good... the journey to Saint Michael was a bit long, but it was worth it.
Saludos, Extime Travel (antiguamente Paris City Vision)
This was a beautiful trip! The castles were amazing and the guide, Lela was FANTASTIC! Highly recommend!
Dear traveler, Thank you so much for your comment. We are so glad to hear you thoroughly enjoyed your two-day trip to Mont Saint Michel and Loire Valley Castles! We look forward to welcoming you again in the future. Kind regards, Paris City Vision
The first day was wonderful; Mont Saint Michel feels like something from a fairy tale and I highly recommend visiting. Our guide seemed very knowledgeable and was very nice and funny, Our hotel was basic but perfect for our needs, the bed was very comfortable and the breakfast was delicious with plenty of options. I would give this portion five stars if I could. Early on the second day, our tour bus broke down and the entire tour was stranded for more than two and a half hours while a new bus was arranged. We had a new guide for the second day of the trip and she was very polite and knowledgeable, and seemed extremely organized, which I commend. Unfortunatelt, communication with our guide was sparse while we waited, and no concessions or even apologies were offered. Our tour continued after the second bus arrived, but having lost so much time we sped through all three of the chateaus we had come to see. Our trip felt very rushed and incomplete, and by the time we made it to a cafeteria for lunch they had finished serving hot dishes for the day. The chateaus themselves were gorgeous. Langeais was the most like the traditional idea of a "castle" and was in a charming village that we didn't have time to explore. I intend to revisit Chenonceaux in the future because we had to skip so much, the grounds seemed especially beautiful. Chambord, the largest of the three, was also the one we spent the least time in; I believe it was less than an hour from entry to exit of the building itself. I would give this portion of the tour two stars at best.
Thank you very much for sharing such a detailed review. We’re delighted that you enjoyed Mont Saint Michel and appreciated the comfort and quality of the first day. We’re truly sorry, however, for the inconvenience caused by the bus issue and the resulting impact on your second day’s experience. Your feedback is very valuable, and we will review this situation carefully with our team to improve communication and scheduling in the future. Kind regards,
Having only a short time in France and wanting to see more than just Paris, this trip was ideal for us. We met our tour guide Alex outside the Pullman Hotel early in the morning and set off for Le Mont St Michel. We had a short stop on the way and arrived at our destination around noon. Alex was a very knowledgeable guide and took us through the village and the abbey, making it all very interesting. There wasn’t a lot of time for lunch. Then there was a rearrangement of travellers so that we joined a tour group that was doing a 3 day tour and some of that group joined Alex and went back to Paris that evening. Our new tour took us to Angers for the night and the next morning we headed off to visit three chateaux in the Loire Valley. Despite many vehicular issues, our tour guides Amelia (for the English speakers) and Marisa (for the Spanish speakers), along with the driver, managed to get us through the planned programme with only a minor extension in time at the end. Amelia was also a very knowledgeable guide and had a great sense of humour. This trip would suit anyone with an interest in history or just a desire to see some different places.
Dear Carole, Thank you for your detailed and thoughtful review. We’re delighted you enjoyed exploring beyond Paris and appreciated the knowledge and professionalism of Alex, Amelia, and Marisa. It’s great to hear that, despite some challenges, the tour remained enjoyable and well-organized. Kind Regards,
the place was amazing will sure visit agian and our guide was so good she explained everything in such a good manner… sofia our tour leader thank u for makeing this trip amazing thank u so much…
We set off early on the first morning with our tour guide. Lots and lots of driving as was expected but well worth it. We had lots of time at Mount Saint Michel being guided around and then given free time. We had time for a nice lunch then back on the bus. At this point there was some confusion as to what bus we should be on as the bus we arrived on was apparently only the day trip not the overnight trip. I overheard a conversation that made me question which bus I should be on which luckily pushed us and another couple onto the correct bus. The other couple thought they’d mucked up and purchased the day excursion so were trying desperately to find accommodation. This was sorted in the end but caused a lot of grief and uncertainty. Overnight hotel was great and in a good location to walk around Angers town centre and have dinner. The next day was to the Loire valley. There’s no stop at Angers castle as you get in too late to visit. The three chateaus are beautiful and we felt we had enough time at each. Time for lunch at Chenonceaux even queuing for 30 mins still plenty of time for lunch. Long long drive back to Paris. Two big days but sore everything we wanted to. Recommend if you’re ok in a bus for a long time. One star taken off as the three guides we encounter didn’t have a great idea of what was going on. The guide around Mont Saint Michel was provided to us and she was great.
On day 1, the bus was an hour late arriving at departure point and then didn't leave for another hour. We had a very nice lunch and 2 hours at Mt St Michel. On day 2, we had 1.5 hours at Amboise and 2 hours at Chenonceau. Hotel was okay.

The tour was ok we saw all of the highlights but we didn't have enough time at any of the places.

The company that does this tour is super organized. Everything went as planned and we saw and learned a lot of cool things.

My only complaint is with the nature of a big tour like this. There is a lot of bus travel and the time at the sites is very limited. We had to rush around after the guided parts to see anything else. The planned meals weren't that great, I would rather not have that included and instead just leave time for folks to eat on their own.
The hotel was fine, the breakfast was great.

It's really cool that they accommodate so many different languages. If you don't want to drive yourself, this is a great option.

It's a bit pricey.

It was an amazing tour.
The places are gorgeous and the guides were very nice.
Recomended
