Bring your own binoculars. Food options are limited. It is a long excursion but worth it. Tour guide and Captain were knowledgeable.
Boring two hour ride to get to fiords. Luckily we met some friends. My wife loved it. For me it was ok
Great boat ride very informative from crew
We were looking forward to the Misty Fjords Trip. We were disappointed for a few reasons: 1) The captain was very conceited - boasting about how many times he has made the trip to Misty Fjords and also stating that he cannot slow down for any sea life. We had 2hrs 1 way to Misty Fjords, approx 45min in the beauty of Misty Fjords and then 2hrs back. There was no narration of highlights on the way back so the views we missed because they were on the other side of the boat, we missed by not having any narration. The captain floored it during the 2hrs each way. 2) We were happier with the bus driver who took us from Ward Cove to the activity in 20min than 5hrs with the captain and the team who was hard to hear. 3) The captain also got on the mic and bitched at the tour attendees because "we need to learn how to use a marine toilet" only to later find out that it was an electrical issue that caused us to lose 1 toilet and nothing that anyone did. The captain who was on the 7/12 cruise should get trained on ettiquette and being in the tourism industry. 4) A 6hr tour is too long to not include lunch. 5) We got on and selected our seats only to be told after most passengers had boarded that we need to move. There was no indication we had sat in handicap seats so while we did our best to get there early for a good seat, we were left to sit backwards on the trip. This was a highly disappointing way to experience Misty Fjords.
This was a spectacular day traveling to the Misty Fjords! Saw a whale on the way and on the way back, plus porpoises playing in the ocean. The boat was very comfortable and clean with plenty of room to move around and be able to see the sights. The captain gave great information about the geology and history of the area. Met some great people and the weather was great. It was very overcast back in the Fjords but still beautiful 😍
The tour was great! Beautiful views of the Fjords and great captain and tour guide. We also saw humpback whales!
This boat ride will reveal absolutely stunning views of Misty Fjords. The company does a great job - the boats are well-designed for viewing, and our guide was brilliant.
Its a long 4.5 hr boat ride for a 10 minute view. We were extra lucky we had an extra few minutes to enjoy. This needs to be disclosed by Princess and this company prior to ticket purchase.
The naturalist was fantastic in explaining the flora, fauna, geology, and history. Hot chocolate, coffee snacks served. Saw many waterfalls. Great trip!
We had a wonderful time! Several sightings of Orcas, eagles, and sea otters. I would definitely do this excursion again. Hi
