Paid €10 per person to visit a construction site. A variety of rooms covered with photo posters that are supposed to show the condition of the palace after renovation. The construction work is so extensive that the entrance area, the large courtyard with the adjacent hammam, and the garden with balustrades are affected. The beauty of the complex and the details of the architecture mentioned in the audio guide can only be guessed at in many places. Speaking of the audio guide - it is practically pushed on you by the staff at the entrance. Ultimately, it is completely unnecessary, as the text presented can be found accurately on the signs in the complex. You can really save the €5. Conclusion: really only recommended for hardcore historians or architecture students.
Bahia Palace is absolutely stunning! The palace has multiple rooms, and every corner is worth exploring. The roof artwork is intricate and beautiful, and the central garden with its small waterfall adds a calming, vibrant touch. The woodwork colors and designs are amazing and truly bring the place to life. A tip: if you’re not going with a guide, take a moment to look at the layout before entering — it helps you appreciate the architectural flow and hidden details. Every corner has something special, from arches to intricate ceilings, making it a photographer’s delight. A must-visit for anyone who loves history and art!
It is a beautiful place full of history. This is one of the places to do absolutely in his visit to Marrakech. The architecture and mosaics are sublime. To do with a guide to have more details during the visit. There are parties of the site still under renovation.
The Marrakech trip was super, nice atmosphere, fun shopping , albeit with haggling. Beautiful things to see, and good and price-favorable food. Staying in a riad is highly recommended, very typical! In short, city trip Marrakech is a direct hit!
Friendly guide who knew a lot about the history of the city. Relaxed tour with plenty of room for questions. Guide speaks excellent English.
The tour was great! Abdel was lovely and gave us lots of information, answering all our questions. It was great to see lots of the sights of Marrakesh whilst also learning more about the history of the city and the culture. He was really helpful when we realised we didn’t have enough cash left and helped us find the best available money exchange place with good rates!
Beautiful Moroccan palace. Lots of places, gardens, rooms and squares that are worth seeing. In the morning it is very busy because of the groups.
An immersion in the history of the best Guide, Youssef who showed us the city of Marrakech, its customs, its souks and its palaces as this wonder that takes us to the story of a thousand and one nights.
Tour made with a private Guide. Learned a lot about the history of Marrakech and the palace. Funny anecdotes heard highly recommended
This is the second time I booked with Viator (booked last year for an excursion in Barcelona) and again it was amazing!! Our guide was super friendly and so knowledgeable. He even bought us fresh figs to try! What a brilliant tour can’t recommend enough
