Lakki is a knowledgeable guide who shares his knowledge in a lively and interesting way. Visiting the Meiji shrine and its forest is a great experience
Had a great experience learning about the shrine and some of the history and culture about the Shinto religion. The one star off is because our guide, while he was knowlegeable, was not a Japenese person. It would have been nice to have someone local give the tour.
Lakki was a fantastic guide! He explained the history of the shrine really well and made the whole tour engaging and easy to follow. You can tell he’s passionate about Japanese culture and history, and he shared lots of interesting stories and hidden details that we would’ve completely missed on our own. The tour felt very personal and relaxed, almost like exploring Tokyo with a friend. Highly recommend this tour if you want a deeper understanding of the shrines and local culture in Tokyo!
