Machu Picchu è una delle 7 meraviglie del mondo presente, culla del più grande impero del Sud America, gli Incas. Il cui capitale era precedentemente Cusco nell'attuale Paese del Perù. Peru Vip ti trasferirà alla stazione ferroviaria di Ollantaytambo (2 ore circa), sulla strada vedrai la peculiarità della Valle Sacra degli Incas e dei suoi paesaggi interandini. Arrivando alla stazione ferroviaria, viaggeremo verso la città di Aguas Calientes (1:45 ore circa), sul treno godrete di uno spuntino delizioso, incluso nel tour. Durante questo nuovo viaggio potrete apprezzare parte della catena montuosa delle Ande e le sue imponenti montagne innevate come la Veronica, inoltre il clima diventerà più caldo e la ferrovia seguirà il corso del fiume Wilkamayu (o fiume sacro) durante tutto il viaggio. Quando si arriva a Machu Picchu Pueblo o Aguas Calientes che si trova ai piedi della stessa montagna (07:45 circa), prenderemo gli autobus per andare fino alla città sacra degli Incas "Machu Picchu", la visita sarà nel pomeriggio, tempo in cui la cittadella è più vuota e silenziosa, così vivrai un'esperienza indimenticabile con la tua guida professionale, che ti offrirà tutte le informazioni della storia e del mistero di questa meraviglia del mondo (il tour ha un valore approssimativo 2 a 2:30 ore). Una volta terminata la guida, hai tempo libero per prendere le ultime foto ricordo della cittadella e godertela pienamente da solo, subito dopo aver lasciato il sito archeologico per scendere di nuovo sugli autobus per la città di Aguas Calientes e avere del tempo libero nella città di Aguas Calientes, per poter fare una passeggiata e pranzare. Più tardi, il treno di ritorno sarà preso alle 16:00 e ci porterà alla stazione di Ollantaytambo. Quindi prendi il trasporto che ti aspetterà e partirai per la città di Cusco, arrivando alle 20:00 circa (il tour termina nei pressi della plaza regocijos o dell'hotel Cusco, dove termina il servizio).
Quando andate da e per Machu Picchu potete vedere l'impressionante Valle Sacra degli Incas, la terra più fertile delle Ande, dove gli Incas coltivavano il più grande mais del mondo. Inoltre è possibile vedere le Ande e villaggi tradizionali intorno.
Dopo aver completato la visita al sito archeologico di Machu Picchu, avrai del tempo libero per passeggiare nella pittoresca cittadina di Aguas Calientes e visitare le varie attrazioni che offre, come il mercato artigianale, la piazza principale della città e molto altro ancora.

Even during rainy season, I would recommend making the trip. The lines were short and the clouds blocked some of the intense sunshine. We met in person the night before the trip to confirm details and answer questions. Transfers from the hotel entrance to Machu Picchu and back were smooth. Our guide in Machu Picchu shared oodles of information while recommending photo spots and taking pics. A light rain fell for less than 30 minutes, it was a wonderful trip.
Thank you to our great guide Wilbert. His knowledge of the site and its history is second to none. All stages of this memorable day of transport to the visit were 5 stars. Recommend it to anyone who wants to live the experience with confidence.
