Il tuo viaggio inizia con il tuo pick up presso il tuo hotel a Cusco seguendo la strada panoramica per l'affascinante città di Chinchero
Chinchero, situato a 28 km di distanza sulla rotta per Urubamba. Qui, esplorerai la caratteristica di una bellissima chiesa coloniale costruita su antiche fondamenta Inca. Chinchero è famosa anche per il suo tradizionale mercato artigianale, dove gli artigiani locali espongono tessuti colorati e artigianato realizzati con tecniche di tessitura ancestrali e tinture naturali.
Proseguimento per Moray, sito archeologico a soli 7 km da Maras, noto per le sue imponenti terrazze circolari costruite a varie profondità. Si ritiene che queste terrazze fossero un antico centro di ricerca agricola, dove gli Inca sperimentarono diversi microclimi. Moray è anche considerato un sito spirituale, associato all'energia femminile di Pachamama (Madre Terra).
Successivamente, visita le splendide miniere di sale di Maras, un paesaggio mozzafiato di oltre 3.000 piscine saline scavate nel fianco della montagna. Risalenti all'epoca pre-incaica, queste saline producono ancora sale di alta qualità attraverso l'evaporazione naturale di acqua ricca di minerali che sgorga da una sorgente vicina. Le piscine bianche a contrasto contro la valle verde rendono incredibili fotografie.
Urubamba - Sosta pranzo Godetevi un pranzo gourmet a Urubamba, il "Cuore della Valle Sacra", circondato da maestose cime andine e fertili terreni agricoli.
Dopo pranzo, esplora Ollantaytambo, una delle ultime città Inca viventi. Passeggia per le sue strade Inca originali e visita l'imponente Tempio del Sole, l'Intihuatana e i Bagni della Principessa. Questo antico sito un tempo serviva come un centro militare, agricolo e religioso chiave durante l'Impero Inca.
Nel tardo pomeriggio, sali a bordo del treno panoramico Vistadome Observatory Class, caratterizzato da ampie finestre in vetro e soffitti a cupola che offrono una vista mozzafiato a 360° sulle Ande e sulla valle del fiume Urubamba. My wife and I did a two day guided tour with Wily through Machu Picchu Peru Travel. We set the trip up through Tonya about a year ago and she did an awesome job organizing our itinerary, It was incredible…pretty much a perfect two days that we wouldn’t have traded for anything. Day 1 in Cusco we met Tonya in person for the first time and she gave us an overview of everything we’d be doing, who would be guiding/picking up and where/when/etc. She was readily available and proactive in getting us everything we needed to feel organized. Day 3, Wily and Adrian picked us up on time, bright and early from our hotel, and we kicked off day 1 of the trip. Keep in mind this was Christmas Day and it felt like touring with an old friend. First spot we went was Chinchero, where Wily had a plethora of knowledge about the area given his background. He took some awesome photos (a trend on this trip) of us, and gave us a first person view of the alpaca fur creating process. We bought a few items from the locals who we really enjoyed meeting and learning from. Second spot was the Salt Mines (Salineras) which was like nothing we had ever seen before. A great experience. Reload on sunscreen for this one. Third spot was Moray…WOW. We toured around half of the circle and got some of the best pictures we’ve ever had out of it. Again, was great getting some perspective on everything from Wily about what the place was built for. Fourth spot for day 1 was Ollantaytambo in the Sacred Valley. Beautiful area that we want to stay in next time we come to Peru. Had an amazing Christmas buffet lunch with Wily and Adrian at La Casa de Don Angel. Last spot of day 1 was the fortress of Ollantaytambo before we took the train to Agua Calientes to get to our hotel. Wily made sure we were on the train and ready to roll for the next day. Machu Picchu made up our second day….we left around 7am with Wily who took us to the bus stop and we all went over to Machu Picchu together. This was very high on my wife’s bucket list and it blew away even her. He then took us over to his favorite restaurant in the area for lunch. Truly incredible two day trip. Thank you Wily, Tonya and Adrian. We appreciate you all so much for making our Christmas vacation amazing! We highly recommend anyone considering going to Machu Picchu to contact these fine folks, or us and we will be happy to make an intro. We’ll work with them again next time we’re here

We had the pleasure of having this tour in the last week and can only say positive things about the organisation provided by the agency. The tour is well organised and gives you plenty of days to acclimatise with the high altitude in Peru. I would strongly recommend this option if you’re looking for a holiday week to see the best of this incredible country!

We went from USA to Cusco to experience Machupichu as a family. We have communicated with Tania of Peru Travel about three months before. From the very beginning she was very prompt to answer all our questions and giving valuable suggestions. She customized our private trip as per our choices of hotels and each day’s schedule. When we were in Cusco and Machupichu everything went as per plan and schedule. We didn’t need to worry about any logistics so we just enjoyed the food, culture, history and heritage of sacred valley and Machupichu. For our entire stay of four days Jaime David was our guide and he was very humble, professional and has enormous knowledge of the heritage and history of the Inkas. He also has a great knowledge of local geology, flora and fauna. Finally, thanks to Tania and her entire team to make this trip a memorable one for my family. They are very friendly and lively people. The cost was very reasonable and much cheaper than booking through any USA based travel agent. If I travel to Peru in future, I know whom to contact.
