Immergiti negli anni Sessanta e siediti nel mio furgone Volkswagen T2 del 1970 ristrutturato per un'esperienza unica. Sia alla moda che "baba cool", porta originalità e divertimento alla tua vacanza. Ti faccio scoprire i dintorni di Lisbona, luoghi magnifici, autentici e ancora conservati a cui è difficile accedere quando non sei trasportato. Che tu sia un appassionato di auto d'epoca, nostalgico degli anni '60 e '70 o semplicemente curioso di scoprire questo mitico furgone, ti assicuro un momento di convivialità e grandi scoperte. Per la giornata sono previsti itinerari per passeggiare lungo le coste di Cascais o Sintra. Altri percorsi ti porteranno alla Serra d'Arrabida o anche a Setubal. Con amici o familiari fino a 5 persone (privati), mettiti comodo nel mio combi VW e lasciati guidare per goderti appieno questa meravigliosa destinazione.

2 ore di tempo libero previste a Cascais. Un tempo città di pescatori, fu trasformata dalla nobiltà portoghese in un luogo di villeggiatura estiva con le sue sontuose ville e i suoi luoghi stravaganti. Cascais è una cittadina molto affascinante dove puoi goderti belle spiagge, parchi e vivaci stradine.
La Casa da Guia è attualmente un punto di riferimento nel comune di Cascais ed è diventata un vero e proprio punto d'incontro con la famiglia o gli amici, grazie a un concetto unico e diverso di commercio, cultura e tempo libero. All'uscita di Cascais, sulla strada per Guincho, Casa da Guia si trova in un palazzo del XIX secolo, totalmente riabilitato dall'architetto Cláudio Wanderley, circondato da due ettari di giardini arroccati sulla scogliera, che si estendono fino al Faro di Guia e dominando l'immensità dell'Oceano Atlantico. All'interno scopriamo un concept commerciale innovativo con vari negozi e una galleria d'arte. All'esterno c'è un'ottima zona per la ristorazione, il commercio, la cultura e il tempo libero, dove ristoranti, terrazze e un anfiteatro sono punti panoramici perfetti da cui godere di una magnifica vista sul mare.
Cabo da Roca è un promontorio selvaggio che si trova nel punto più occidentale dell'Europa continentale. Questo luogo fatto di rupi martellate dai venti e terre aride era un tempo (fino al XIV secolo) considerato la fine del mondo. È il luogo ideale per chi apprezza la natura, con da un lato la distesa d'acqua che sembra infinita e dall'altro le montagne del parco naturale di Sintra-Cascais.
Questa "bocca dell'inferno" è una voragine che ha stupito e terrorizzato i visitatori fin dai tempi più remoti. L'oceano, a forza di andirivieni spesso violenti, ha scavato la roccia, formando una "fauce di pietra" in cui ribolle un brodo infernale.
Magnifica spiaggia situata nello spettacolare paesaggio delle colline della Serra de Sintra. Sempre esposta a forti venti, è famosa per le sue enormi onde, sia estive che invernali. È quindi un paradiso per i surfisti esperti. All'estremità meridionale della spiaggia si trova il forte dipinto di giallo di Fortaleza do Guincho, che è stato trasformato in un hotel 5* con la sua piscina all'aperto costruita attorno a un vecchio forte.

Awesome day traveling the coast just outside Lisbon. Loved touring in the VW van. Antonio did a great job taking us to the sights & giving us plenty of time at each stop.

This was the best part of our trip to Portugal. This day didn’t feel like you were on a tour. It was more like riding around with family and friends, singing great music and catching all the cool sights along the way. Also, we had the best meal of our entire trip for lunch at Azenhas do Mar. What a wonderful experience we had with this tour and although we did not get a chance to visit Sintra and the other Castles because of unforeseen circumstances, we did get a chance to go other sites that we would otherwise not have been able to. My hats off to Christiano for this unforgettable trip to the coastline and the city of Cascais, he took his time to explain in detail all the places we visited. He also recommended local restaurants for us while in Lisbon and his wife Laura kept in touch with me even before we got here to make sure everything was fine. Fun day with lovely and knowledgeable guide and driver. The VW bus is super cool! When we moved quickly through regular stops being fast-paced New Yorkers they offered to add another location to visit.

Cristiano was an amazing guide for the day! He was on time, very polite and a friend to talk with and ask questions all day. He provided the schedule for the day and asked if we wanted any modifications. This is the perfect tour to visit the coastal towns and sites near Lisbon. At each stop he provided us with history about the stop and allowed time to explore, take pictures and enjoy each experience. Our lunch stop came with an amazing ocean view and the food was outstanding (order the grilled octopus). Make sure you ask him about the history of the van as it has a very fascinating story. He loves what he is doing, is very knowledgeable about Portugal and you will not be disappointed in your experience. We highly recommend this tour as we feel like we have a new friend in Portugal.

Everything was perfect from the pick up to the drop off. Laura and Christian were AMAZING. Super knowledgable, friendly and we enjoyed their fabulous VW van. We were picked up on time at the hotel in this fully restored bus and drove comfortably along small roads to Sintra. Our two supervisors told us a lot about the city and Sintra. From Sintra we went to the coast to a fantastic fish restaurant with a great view. Then along the coast to the westernmost point of Europe, then to a hellish gorge and finally back to Lisbon via the coastal road. The trip in the old bus is great fun, people often speak to you and wave at you. We can only recommend the trip!
