Con un'area di riserva naturale di 14.000 ettari, dedicata soprattutto alla protezione degli uccelli limicoli che vivono o visitano qui durante le loro rotte migratorie stagionali. Tra quelli stanziali e migratori, sono più di 200 le specie di uccelli che qui possiamo osservare. Excellent birding trip. Carlos is very knowledgeable. When we visit Lisbon again, we plan on taking another trip! It was a breath of fresh air!
Extremely fun trip along the river seeing numerous birds and getting a great understanding of the geographical area from Carlos. While we didn’t all the birds we were expecting, the boat ride was very calm and it beautiful to see a different side of Lisbon not normally travelled.
We had a lovely time on the water and a guide that was very knowledgable about the birds. This was a great way to get to know more about Lisbon and be outside. The boat and our guide, Carlos, made it a wonderful outing.
We had a great time on this boat tour with Carlos. He was friendly and knowledgeable, and was able to point out lots of different bird species to us, particularly some difficult to distinguish shorebirds. We highly recommend.
It was a very enjoyable tour. The guide knows where to find the birds based on the tides and he knows all their names in English. The species you see will depend on the time of year and tides. For the best birding experience, you can contact the guide in advance to see when the tides will be most favorable.

Carlos takes you to the Tagus estuary with professionalism and solid knowledge of the environment. He speaks several languages and knows which birds are in each place, highly recommended.
i had a great time and the trip was totally worth it as we have seen a lot of different birds - sandpipers, curlews, spoonbills, redshanks, marsh harriers and even an osprey with a fish the guide explained all the details and helped to timely identify the birds so we did not miss anything) I would love to come again to check this place at another time of the year
