Itinerario da Lisbona a Sintra
A questo punto i nostri ospiti potranno sperimentare cosa significava vivere in un villaggio medievale di alto livello economico, sociale e culturale, potranno inoltre vedere la facciata del Palazzo Estivo della Famiglia Reale Portoghese fino all'inizio del XX secolo, vedere il Castelo dos Mouros e soprattutto provare gli esclusivi dolci di Sintra, Queijada e Travesseiro.
Strada per il Palazzo Pena
In questa sosta visiteremo il bellissimo e iconico Palazzo Pena, noto anche come il Palazzo Portoghese Neuschwanstein, costruito dal re consorte Dom Fernando II nella prima metà del XIX secolo. XIX dopo il suo matrimonio con la regina reggente del Portogallo Dona Maria II, un luogo di fantasia, panorami mozzafiato e giardini lussureggianti che ricordano un piccolo giardino dell'Eden. A Cascais, la perla nascosta dell'Atlantico, ci fermeremo per pranzo al villaggio di pescatori e visiteremo. Cascais iniziò come villaggio di pescatori nel XIX secolo. Ruben our tour guide is very nice and personal, explained everything clear and allowed time in each stop for plenty of pictures and time to enjoy and explore. Make sure you have good walking shoes is 8-9 hours of lots of walking but totally worth it. Highly recommend this tour.
The tour is amazing even though there is not much to see in Cabo roca and Cascais. Buses should have a sign with their destination. We arrived early and no driver knew where to go. After many peple gathered they placed a flag for questions. Tour guides had no badges to identify them. A lady was on her phone all the time and another guide told peolle she is ur guide but she never looked for her people. It was a mess and I use viator tours all the time. Our guide Diogo was the most helpful in guiding us and others. He was an amazing born tour guide and very friendly and easygoing. Loved him even though to translate in 3 languages is not easy but for him was a piece of cake. Good job Diogo!! You rocked! The company remained disorganized for the morning. Buses should have sign with their destination or tour name, drivers should be helpful instead of sitting on the side all to smoke and chat and saying “we dont know where to go”. Oh well, Diogo made it up for all! He actually helped others to find their spots….. He deserves the best from This company!!
Great option to meet Sintra.
We left on time. Weather is unpredictable so bring a jacket just in case it will get cold and maybe a hat or umbrella if it rains. Come prepared.
Maria was a great tour guide. She was very knowledgeable about the places we visited. She gave us great recommendations about places to eat and places to take photographs. We thoroughly enjoyed the tour and learned a lot.
Great experience with one of the best tour leaders. He was energetic, funny and knowledgeable. He has travelled the world and knows many languages which help his tour to be excellent.

Pros & Cons about this trip: the con is that the tour will last past 9 hours and the pro is that this tour will last longer than 9 hours! Emilio was or tour guide… he was awesome.
I Viator does not list the difficulty of this tour. However, vision tours says it’s easy and accessible for those of limited mobility. This was not true at all. There was a shuttle that went up to the palace, but the guide recommended we just walk up the hill, which was the shortest distance. We had older people and people with limited mobility, that were not able to make it up the hill. Had the guide made sure that we could get tickets to the shuttle, it would’ve helped. Additionally, those who made it up the hill then had steps to go up. And lastly, at the end of the castle tour, we obviously had to go back down the steps and back down the hill. We then loaded the bus, where the guy said he was going to take us to city center and the next palace. He stopped the bus just a few minutes from the first palace, and we had to walk downhill and steps through a park and then about 10 minutes into the city center. Three of the people on my tour, unable to complete the tour because of these requirements and had to find their own way back to the hotel without any offer of compensation. Well, I was able to get through the park, it was difficult for me. After we got back on the tour bus to head to the next stop, the guide preached to us about how this is Europe, and we should be willing to walk He also say that there was a list on their website that stated that this particular tour was not accessible and would’ve been a challenge, walking up hills and steps. Yet, when I went to the website, it actually says easy and that it’s accessible. I want my money back.!
