Olcay was a phenomenal tour guide. He told us the captivating stories behind each site. He also had helpful info that we’ll use during our whole stay in Portugal. Great tour- highly recommend!

Olcay was an amazing and knowledgeable tour guide! He told the history of the city in such a beautiful yet accessible way, and made us really feel like we were stepping back in time. The three hours flew by, and we felt like we got to know a whole new side of Lisbon by the end!

Olcay was an incredible tour guide. I had the best time exploring Lisbon with him. He’s very knowledgeable and was able to give so much history behind everything we saw. He’s so lovely and we had very good chat whilst walking. I’d highly recommend for anyone looking for a tour guide to give the authentic local experience.

As a family who recently moved to Portugal, we joined this walking tour hoping to get to know Lisbon a little better. What we experienced was far beyond our expectations. From the very beginning, everything was perfectly organized. The tour started exactly on time, and the warm introduction session helped everyone feel comfortable right away. There were more than 20 participants, and we were the only family attending with a 10-year-old child. Naturally, we were a little concerned about whether our son would enjoy a three-hour walking tour. We didn't need to worry at all. Our guide, Ömer Faruk Keçeci, is clearly someone who knows Portugal and Lisbon inside out. His deep knowledge, combined with an exceptional talent for storytelling, transformed streets, buildings, monuments, and even ordinary corners of the city into living stories. Rather than simply sharing dates and facts, he helped us understand the people, culture, architecture, and historical events that shaped Lisbon. The tour was thoughtfully paced, with well-timed short breaks that kept everyone comfortable while still making the most of every moment. Along the way, we enjoyed several local treats, and learning the stories behind those flavors added another memorable dimension to the experience. What touched us most was the atmosphere created by the entire group. Ömer, together with Deren and Onur, made everyone feel genuinely welcome. They were especially kind to our son, and the other participants also included him naturally in conversations and activities. By the end of the tour, he had enjoyed the experience just as much as we did. As newcomers to Lisbon, this tour gave meaning to places we had already walked past without understanding their stories. It felt less like a tour and more like a warm introduction to our new city and community. We are truly grateful to Ömer, Deren, and Onur for creating such a memorable experience. If you are visiting Lisbon—or especially if you have recently moved here and want to connect with the city on a deeper level—I cannot recommend this tour highly enough. I recently participated in the Lisbon Old Town Walking Tour: History, Culture & Taste 3H, and it was an absolute highlight of my trip! I want to thank all: Deren, Ömer and Uğur Our guide Ömer was incredibly warm, friendly, and welcoming from the very first minute, instantly making the whole group feel like old friends. Their depth of historical knowledge is absolutely superb, but what truly set this tour apart was the delivery. Instead of just rattling off dry facts, the guide brought Lisbon’s past to life with a powerful literary and artistic flair that added incredible depth and color to every story. The perfect balance of history, rich cultural insights, and delicious local tastes made the three hours absolutely fly by. I thoroughly enjoyed every single moment of this experience and highly recommend it to everyone visiting the city.

We thoroughly enjoyed exploring the stories and history of this wonderful city, thanks to our guide's excellent narration. Traveling with someone who knows the route so well is a different kind of pleasure. I would also like to thank our guide and his team for the delicious food and the wonderful photos. Today, we had a wonderful introduction to the history of Lisbon with our guide, Ömer Faruk Keçeci. We learned a lot of historical and current information. I would like to thank him and his valuable colleagues for this enjoyable trip.

We have taken a 15 person tour today and here is the thing; I usuallly zone out during these kinds of tours but in this case my mind stayed awake the whole time. I was expecting to learn some interesting facts bıt this was unbelievable. It was like watching a documentary but I was there. Highly recommend it.
