In questo workshop realizzerai 4 prodotti di carta, quindi tantissime cose da fare! Alla fine, avrai il disegno di due cartoline, carta Rakusui e carta A5. Sperimenterai l'intero processo di produzione della carta giapponese, tra cui Hyouhitor (staccando la corteccia esterna) e Dakai (battendo le fibre degli alberi). Quindi, versare la materia prima in uno stampo per la fabbricazione della carta e ricoprirla prima di setacciare la soluzione per formare un foglio di carta uniforme e piatto. Mentre la carta si asciuga, offriamo il nostro originale "tè di carta giapponese" insieme a dolci giapponesi locali. Produciamo il tè dalle foglie di Kozo, che sono la materia prima per produrre la carta, e i dolci provengono da un amato negozio locale. Disclaimer: C'è un gatto nel mio laboratorio. A fun private workshop where you learn about all the stages that go into creating Washi paper before each creating 4 sheets of paper using different natural finishes. Meet Kami the workshop mascot cat who keeps a watchful eye over you as you work (may look like sleeping). Finish with a tea made from the plant the Washi is made from.

Traveled to Singapore via Doha with qua-tar airlines we ordered the easy on the stomach food, sandwich white bread with lettuce on it was yuk, then from Australia via qua-tar airlines to Doha then Doha to Manchester, comfort seats, which were good, food I have never had so much rubbish food wise, did not eat it from Australia to Doha where I ate in the airport at Doha then to Manchester ate nothing the food was presented to me but inedible. Staff no smiles didn’t care what you asked and uninterested. I’ve been on trips with tui to Caribbean food not too bad,) tui staff respect was second to none. I’m not qua-tar’s first class passenger but please don’t give me inedible food and your staff needs teaching how to smile and talk to their ordinary customers with respect.

An absolute must if visiting Tokyo. The workshop mascot cat Kami is adorable and you get to create 4 different papers.

The teacher was excellent and she was patient and kind. The Washi paper creation process was fun and we really enjoyed the special tea and sweets.
