La.Soufriere è uno stratovulcano situato sul lato settentrionale di St.Vincent. Si trova a circa 1234 m sul livello del mare, con un cratere largo circa 500 m e profondo 60 m. Che offre una vista panoramica mozzafiato sulla terra e sul paesaggio marino circostanti. ti dà ampia diversità e un incontro ravvicinato di flora e fauna. Il vulcano La soufriere ha eruttato nel 1718,1812,1902,1987 e anche il 9 aprile 2021. Questa escursione è adatta a qualsiasi escursionista medio, è accessibile sia dal lato nord-orientale (sopravvento) che dal lato nord-occidentale (sottovento) di l'isola. escursioni dal lato sopravvento... questo tour dura un'ora dalla capitale (Kingstown) lungo la pittoresca costa orientale, attraverso fattorie agricole sulla strada per Bamboo Range (dove hai accesso a strutture come parcheggio, servizi igienici e gazebo). Partendo dalla catena del bambù è un'escursione di 4 km fino alla vetta e 4 km di ritorno, che impiegano in media 2 ore per salire e 2 ore per tornare indietro

- L'escursione parte da 387 metri (1200 ft ) a 965 metri (3196 ft ) Può essere freddo in cima a volte soprattutto in una giornata nuvolosa, ventosa, piovosa quindi ti consiglio di portare con te una giacca a vento o una giacca antipioggia anche un cambio di vestiti per quando finisci è una buona idea perché o sarai bagnato dal sudore o dalla pioggia
- Nota bene : c'è un biglietto d'ingresso che ogni ospite deve pagare (biglietto d'ingresso pagabile solo presso l'ufficio del sentiero) (situato presso il sentiero)

- In genere prendiamo ospiti solo da Kingstown e dalle aree circostanti per il tour del vulcano La Soufriere (Windward Trail). Il ritiro a Sandals St. Vincent e Grenadine sarebbe al di fuori della nostra gamma standard, e probabilmente incorrerebbe in una tassa aggiuntiva.

Grueling BUT rewarding. Yes, it’s a challenging hike, but it’s so rewarding to witness the beauty of nature, from the various flora to the crater rim of an active volcano 🌋 with steam rising from it. Special shoutout to Lavaman for encouraging me along the way and making sure I completed the hike safely. He knows this hike and is well equipped to get you through it too. Some parts are steep, slippery, and/or overgrown, but again, it’s worth it to see it through to the end. Also, do dress appropriately as the higher elevation is noticeably cooler and windier than coastal/sea level St. Vincent.
Our trip to La Soufrière Volcano with Lavaman was an incredible experience! The pickup went smoothly, and you can immediately tell that Lavaman truly loves what he does. He was extremely knowledgeable about the volcano and the plants in the area. He was very patient with us throughout the hike. The climb was very challenging, but the experience was absolutely worth it. The views, the accomplishment, and the experience made every step worthwhile. And at the end of it all, you get the ultimate bragging rights! Highly recommend this unforgettable adventure! Highly recommend bringing some EarPods for music and playing when you feel you want to give up.
Rare experience, Lavaman was a great guide , very knowledgeable of the volcano history n surrounding area. Challenging climb but was well worth the adventure.

Hard hike but worthwhile for the views and experience. Try to wear good shoes and bring a windbreaker as it can be cooler, wetter and windy at the top.
Lawman was very knowledgeable and gave us a lot of information about the volcano and the island itself. Although the weather was not the best, he made sure we still got good views

It was a privilege to climb Soufriere volcano with the famous Lava Man, he is both kind and professional. We were a group of three....being an older lady I found it challenging and went quite slowly. Lava Man was patient and considerate and never made me feel uneasy for being slow. Lava Man gave us lots of time at the crater for a rest, photos and eating snacks. This was our highlight in St Vincent...such a fabulous experience and Lava Man is a fantastic human being❤️
