Dark View Falls, Wallilabou, Fort Charlotte, Kingstown da IV Tours

We had the pleasure of being guided by Samual “Ruff” today, and it was truly one of the highlights of our trip to Saint Vincent. Ruff’s knowledge of the island’s history was outstanding — he brought Dark View falls, pirates of the Caribbean, Fort Charlotte and the Obelisk of Joseph Chatoyer to life with stories that went far beyond the standard tour script. All this in just over 6 hours was amazing. At Dark View Falls, Ruff’s support helping the two of us navigate the falls was greatly appreciated, and he later guided us through Richmond Vale, where we saw first-hand the striking aftermath of the volcanic eruption — a sobering and unforgettable sight. What made the experience truly special was learning about Ruff’s own connections to the island’s culture. Having worked on the production of Pirates of the Caribbean, he shared incredible first-hand stories about working alongside the producers and crew — details you simply won’t find anywhere else. He’s also deeply connected to the local music scene, having worked as a music video producer for some well-known ragga soca artists from St. Vincent, and his insights into the genre’s origins added a whole new dimension to the tour and got me interested in the music. Ruff was friendly, personable, and clearly went above and beyond to make sure we had a memorable experience. This was a once-in-a-lifetime day, and we’re certain it wouldn’t have been the same with a different guide. If you’re visiting Saint Vincent and want someone who combines deep local knowledge with genuinely fascinating personal stories, we couldn’t recommend Ruff more highly.

This tour is a must when in St. Vincent, as you see the islands highlights. You will learn so so much about the islands history and culture. The guide is extremely knowledgeable and was part of the pirates of the carribean movie production on the island. You might also be able to taste his homemade ginger beer which was delicious. Highly recommended!

Absolutely worth the hype. Our IV Tours trip to Dark View Falls, Fort Charlotte, and Kingstown was a true 5-star experience from start to finish. The day was perfectly paced, with a great mix of natural beauty, history, local culture, and plenty of time to take it all in. Dark View Falls was breathtaking and refreshing, Fort Charlotte gave us amazing views and insight into the island, and Kingstown added the perfect local flavor. Although Wallilabou was closed, our guide still provided first-hand Pirates of the Caribbean information, which made that part of the experience feel special and memorable. IV Tours made everything easy, comfortable, and enjoyable. The guide was knowledgeable, friendly, and clearly proud to share St. Vincent with visitors. It never felt rushed or overly touristy, just a well-planned, memorable day exploring some of the island’s best spots. If you’re wondering whether to book this tour, do it. It was one of the highlights of our trip and a fantastic way to experience St. Vincent. Highly recommended! We left the tour feeling like we made a lifelong friend.

When coming to St Vincent & the Grenadines…..IV Tours is the ultimate experience! The Darkview falls were rejuvenating and refreshing. Once again Ruff is very informative with explanations of where the water source is, the amount of falls and the pressure/force of the waterfalls (very important). Additionally you do not need to worry about photos and videos as Ruff being in professional production, he's very willing and capable of snapping and capturing some breathtaking imagery enabling you to cherish your moments for a lifetime. Most importantly a safe, cautious and respectful driver, Ruff and IV Tours is an unforgettable package. Definitely worth every penny, a 10/10 experience surely.

I shouldn't have to say this cause it's obvious but I'll say it for the people that don't know as yet,this tour was everything you could possibly want on a vacation/relaxation time with most majestic beautiful scenery. Me,my daughter along with some others had the most wonderful time on this tour it's a must to try.....big up to Ruff the Boss man. Miss out on this and blame yaself.

Bring some water shoes, a towel and change of clothes for this adventurous tour. You will have an excellent time, driving through the scenic island and then seeing the amazing falls. Very fun and exciting day.

Nothing like the description. No air-conditioned tour bus with wifi. Our driver barely talked. We were offered bananas and homemade ginger beer. Our tour was barely 4 hours. Most trips we do through Viator are great, but this was disappointment after disappointment.

This excursion was filled with information and our tour guide (Dave) was excellent. He brought great energy to the event and was able to take us places the other van couldn’t take us.

Highly recommend this experience. The tour guide is extremely knowledgeable. The falls were awesome.

Orveil was very knowledgeable on the history of the island and the pirates of the Caribbean.He offered refreshments and drinks during the tour. He responded quickly and was very helpful .
