A diversity of beautiful landscapes with changing colors, go from surprise to surprise, take full eyes and heart. My daughters and I loved the day. I recommend the private tour to fully enjoy this excursion. the kindness of the guides and our guests will remain in our hearts.
We had a really nice experience to Atlas mountain and very knowledgable guide,Nassim.First we have stopped to take nice pictures on the way to Atlas mountain, after that we had a traditional tea and after we visited a cooperative of argan oil where you can buy different organic body lotions, cream, argan oil, etc. When we arrived in Imlil valley,Nassim took us for an amazing 2-3hours walk through the mountain and to a nice waterfall. After that we had a nice traditional food, tagine in a beautiful berbere house. On the way back we ride the camels and we took amazing pictures 😊
Unfortunately, I was only an hour late. After that it was really perfect! Quite great guide, spoke fluent English, super friendly, explained everything to us, took breaks, carried bags of tourists, walked paths that were not so crowded with other touris, a lot of time at the waterfall, great family who cooked us on his roof and very warm everyone. The camel riding was correspondingly what shorter so 15 minutes in red dresses and turban, was very nice, even with the tea in the desert. Great day trip, we can only recommend if you really want to see how the locals live and work!
Where do I start. I would like to say that I can't fault it. Everything was very good especially the host. Very friendly, very helpful, funny. His family is amazing too and so was the lunch. I would highly recommend.
A wonderful day with our guide Nassim a very jam pack day to the Atlas mountains & lovely lunch at his family home.
Nassim was our guide. He was super and it was a jam packed day full of adventure and fun.It was even fuller that the outline of tour. We had lunch at Nassims uncles home and met his cousins ...really enjoyed that. The camel ride was so fun and we were minded so well .
We had a great day trip to the Atlas Mountains. The kids loved the camel ride (ages 5 and 3). Our guide, Mohammed, spoke perfect English and was very accommodating. He arranged for us to sit and have a coffee during the hike as the kids were too tired to a hike to the waterfalls. We finished up the tour with food at his Aunt’s house in the mountains! Would definitely recommend for those who are looking for a cultural tour and to learn about the Berbers!
We had a wonderful day with our guide Omar who lead us through the Atlas mountains. At first we were picked up at the meeting point by our driver "Momo" who also picked up our guide and then we drove to our first stop the camel ride. (by the way camels are very strong they even carried my nearly 100kg self around) After 20 minutes of riding we drove until the next Stop: argan oil cooperative des femmes where you could see the women producing the oil and where we also got breakfast. After that we drove past the oldest berber town where we got the chance to take nice pictures. During the day Omar explained us a lot about the marocan culture and everything we wanted to know and he was literally the best photographer. Then our hike through the mountains started, we saw beautiful waterfalls, lots of locals and mules and the landscape is definetely breathtaking. After 1,5h of hiking we stopped at the house of our guide's sister where we got to know the whole family and where we had a really tasty lunch with tajine and salad and local fruit and of course mint tea. We really enjoyed our meal and the family was so friendly we felt really welcome. We even played soccer with Omar's nephew. Then unfortunately our beautiful day was over, we drove back to Marrakech and were very thankful that Omar made everything so special. We can highly recommend this Trip, it is a great contrast to the hectic medina and it's also very helpful to make this trip at the beginning of your vacation because you get lots of information in general. Thank you Omar! #geilezeit
So much fun : the camel ride, hike to the scenic waterfall, lunch afterwards. We were very well looked after by Omar, very informative guide. Speaks good English (French too). This really was amazing value for money (hotel pickup and drop off included, whatsapp the day before to confirm and check for special meals). Made me want to come back and do a lot more hiking. PS you really do feel safe with Omar, everybody in the valley knows him and is happy to see him. No sales pitch at any point, in fact it wasn't easy getting a chance to give him a well deserved tip at the end!
One of the coolest days I've ever had and I've traveled lot of Europe with my wife. Hiking in the local village just below snow capped mountains and having a delicious local lunch in a home on the mountain side were equally as cool and interesting as riding camels and off-roading in the desert. A great value for everything that we got to see and experience. The guides were super friendly fun and knowledgable as well as being a pleasure to be around. Would highly recommend to anyone.
