Heraklion è la capitale di Creta e una delle città più affascinanti e vivaci della regione mediterranea con molti monumenti storici da visitare. È pieno di luoghi da scoprire. Cnosso è uno di questi, il mitico labirinto e l'antica capitale della Creta minoica, 5000 anni fa. Partecipa a questo tour e combina una visita al centro città e al Palazzo della Civiltà Minoica.

Itinerario
Inizieremo a raccogliere i partecipanti dai punti di raccolta al mattino. A seconda del luogo del tuo hotel/appartamento, la corsa in autobus sarà diversa.
Cnosso, il mitico labirinto e antica capitale della Creta minoica, 5000 anni fa. I nostri partecipanti entreranno nel sito archeologico con il nostro rappresentante per partecipare a una visita guidata di circa 1 ora e 20 minuti e poi godersi un po' di tempo libero per scattare foto e ammirare lo storico luogo minoico. I partecipanti devono attendere in fila per ricevere i biglietti ed entrare nel Palazzo.
Dopo aver lasciato il Palazzo di Cnosso, il nostro autobus ci porterà alla città di Heraklion. Lì i partecipanti parteciperanno a una visita guidata nel centro città e nella parte storica di Heraklion, seguita da 2 ore e 30 minuti di tempo libero al vecchio mercato per passeggiate, foto e shopping. Facoltativo: La visita al Museo Archeologico di Heraklion, è facoltativa e sarà senza guida turistica in quanto il regolamento covid per visitare il museo in gruppo, è molto rigido e richiederebbe troppo tempo e costi elevati.
Imbarco sugli autobus e rientro negli hotel dove abbiamo raccolto i partecipanti al mattino. A seconda del traffico e dei luoghi di raccolta di ciascuno, il tempo di ritorno in hotel sarà diverso.

interesting tours of the palace and the city. We have a little free time to potentially go to the museum.
This was a very interesting and educational tour. Our guide was very knowledgeable, and entertaining. What an amazing culture!
We had booked a tour with a guide in Italian, paying a higher price for it compared to other guided tours with a guide only in English. Unfortunately, upon arriving at Knossos we discovered that our tour guide was explaining only in English. Good, but not in the language we booked. If it is not possible to guarantee the service, it should not even be made bookable.
Ms Veronica, Which date was your reservation made? I ask because we provide this tour in Italian every Saturday and we always have Italian speaking guide. We have never done this to our clients. Perhaps you went with another company and not ''CRETAN ODYSSEY'' and it is not fair to receive this review. Visiting after 5 PM, few people, great for a relaxed visit! Very beautiful site. Explanations via free QR code, audio in English or Greek. For French, it is to be read. Otherwise, ask the AI.

I had a mixed experience with this tour. The pickup and drop off was well organized. Same applies to the ticket purchase. Needless to say, to be at Knossos is amazing in and of itself. However, what was disappointing was the informational component of the tour. Several facts shared by the tour guide were incorrect (sigh), including those pertaining to the start and end of the bronze age, the behaviour of dolphins, among others. Also, there were many misogynistic jokes/generalizations. Moreover, the city tour was very quick, without much detail.
i didn’t realise thst it was ruins i thought it was an actual palace. I did enjoy ghe town snd market though
I was so looking forward to this and Cretan Odyssey didn't disappoint. Very professional and upbeat guide. Had a fab time.
We had a very nice guided tour of Sula, who could show us much more through our small group than would have been possible with a large group, so we were also able to view smaller rooms of Knossos, while Sula told us very pleasantly about the story and towards the end of the tour of Knossos also about the origin of mythology. She was very professional, had a pleasant way of talking and she was able to inspire even my rather less interested mother about the stories of Knossos and Heraklion!
