Unisciti al nostro piccolo gruppo (fino a 12 persone) Tour a piedi al palazzo di Cnosso con una guida turistica autorizzata. Incontra la tua guida vicino all'ingresso del sito archeologico, proprio accanto al ristorante Little Garden vicino alla biglietteria. La tua guida avrà un cartello con il logo WeGuide.
Inizio del tour alle 13:30 (13:30) Il Museo Archeologico di Heraklion è uno dei più grandi e importanti musei della Grecia, e tra i più importanti musei d'Europa. Ospita reperti rappresentativi di tutti i periodi della preistoria e della storia cretese, coprendo un arco cronologico di oltre 5.500 anni dal Neolitico all'epoca romana. La collezione minoica di singolare importanza contiene esempi unici di arte minoica, molti dei quali veri capolavori. Knossos is wonderful. It can be very hot. Heraklion museum. Is one of the best in the world. Transportation between Knossos and museum can be tricky. Our guide was a great help.

Our outdoor guide was incredible. It was a very hot day (June in a heat wave) and our guide took us through all the key spots and allowed us to take pictures before giving more detailed explanations in the shade. We had a small group, so it made navigating very easy. Our guide was very knowledgeable and tied in the mythology to actual events to piece everything together seamlessly. Very professional and experienced. We took the bus to the museum after, and due to heavy traffic, timing was tight. Our museum guide was quiet, but delightful and took us through the high points of Minoan society and artifacts.

The tour guide was extremely knowledgeable and cognizant of other people around us. She had great stories to share. I was extremely lucky and was the only person on the tour at the museum. She gave me an in-depth tour and then I took more time to look around on my own. You need to arrange your own transportation from Knosos to the museum.

Eleni Vazakopoulou, from treasuresofcrete, was our guide. We were a family of 6, including two girls of 10 and 7, who are very interested in Greek Mythology. Eleni made the ruins of Knossos come alive for them as well as giving us all the historical information. The same was true of the museum. She also managed the day so we had a break for a meal and had activities for the girls. Even though it was a cold damp day it was fantastic and the highlight of our stay in Crete. I could not recommend Eleni more highly.
