Itinerario

We loved the tour Our tour guide was so friendly and upbeat and we were able to see bears And a whale
Offered no water, young lady driver yawned all the way, said she had a late night. Very little commentary, raced straight to a vantage point to see a bear, luckily we saw one however the guide used the binoculars the whole time herself didn't offer anyone in the group she also had a spare set in her van but didn't offer those. Van was very dirty and instead of being 2.5 hours she took us straight back after we saw the bear, took us to a road side stream for photos as it was claimed to be a waterfall. One of the highlights was seeing the salmon ladder in Creek Street which anyone can walk to in 5 minutes.
Thank you for sharing your feedback. I’m sorry to hear that. You did not enjoy your experience with us, but I do want to clarify a few things for anyone reading this review. Your tour was a non-private tour, which is only two hours long. We do not provide snacks or bottled water on our non-private tours. Those Namese we provide our on private tours only. On occasion, if we do not have another tour immediately following, and everyone in the van is comfortable with it, our drivers may go a little over the schedule time as a courtesy. We also asked that people remember that our drivers work extremely hard throughout the summer, often working day after day without a day off. They genuinely care about giving our guest a great experience and do their best every single day. As for the stops, the waterfall is one of the places many of our guests absolutely love, and herring cove is specifically one of our favorite locations because it gives us opportunities to see salmon, bears, harbor, seals, eagles, and so much more. You were actually very fortunate to see a beer during your visit, as wildlife sightings can never be guaranteed. I also believe I offered you my binoculars when you were having difficult scene, but you declined. The other guest on the two or had their own binoculars. Regarding the comment about the van, our vans are cleaned and maintained regularly, so I’m not sure where that impression came from. And as for the comment about the driver, appearing tired, I believe that yawned, maybe three times during the whole tour. We are human, and after working long summer days, and occasional yawn can certainly happen, but that does not reflect the effort we put into our tours. We are genuinely sorry that you were unhappy with your experience. At the same time, it is important to clarify that the concerns mentioned in this review do not accurately reflect what was included with the tour you booked or the experience we strive to provide. We appreciate every guest who chooses to spend their time in Ketchikan with us, and we will continue working hard to provide the best experience possible.🩵☔️
Our to guide was awesome, a native Alaskan. Lots of interesting info. Saw about 12 bears in the wild!
Thank you for booking with us🩵☔️
We saw bears, eagles, deer and a seal with Lexie. The tour was flexible and easy. We hesitated to book a tour but were so very glad we did - with Lexie!
Yay!!!!! I’m so happy you booked was great meeting you Emily! Thanks for the fun day🩵☔️
Is there a way to give this tour a rating of 10 stars? This was amazing. We wanted to see bears and, man, Lexie delivered. It is the right time of year (beginning of August) to see black bears hunting for fish. We were able to see a big bear not only running but he also caught and carried a salmon away. Watched a mama bear and her two cubs for a long time. Three more bears. Lexie didn’t hurry us away. She knew this group was more interested in bears than other wildlife. Best bear viewing ever (outside of Kodiak island). Just: WOW. Highly recommend this tour. Lexie is 3rd generation Ketchikanian. Thank you for a tour of a lifetime!
Oh Betty, I had such a great time with you and the rest of the group. What a day for bears that was such a great day. Thank you again for booking with us.🩵☔️

It was so great having the day with you and your family. Thank you again for booking with us.🩵☔️
Wonderful experience! Lexi made our small group feel welcomed to Ketchikan and gave us a personal tour! We were able to see a mama bear and her cubs at Herring Cove and Lexi drove around to give us anouther chance to see them. We also saw numerous bald eagles, harbor seals, and wonderful sights. We visited rainbow falls and hiked up to the upper portion to see the second waterfall. It was great to have such a personalized tour.
The day we toured with Lexi, her mic was broken, so some family members had difficulty hearing. She is sweet and knowledgeable about the area. We did see salmon, deer and eagles, but no bear. She dropped us off after in town, which was nice.
We have a mic on the way!!!! Sorry about that. Thank you for booking with us🩵☔️
Lexi was knowledgeable, thoughtful and kind. We were able to see many star fishes, a junior bald eagle and a bear.
I had a great time with you and you group! Thank you again for booking with us🩵☔️
This was such a fun morning with our guide Johnny- a local with lots of information and fun stories about the area and his personal life. Our favorite part was the tide pooling.
Thank you so much for booking with us 🩵☔️
