Ci dirigiamo quindi verso The Kingdom of Kerry.
Adare Heritage Centre
20 min
Half Kerry ring
It was not guided well at all due to broken microphone or for other reason.
The route described on the website was not followed: Adare - 30 mins just to walk along the main street, next stop - 2 hours by yourself/30 mins horse cart in Killarney, no National park stop, you won't see Lakes because it's far to walk there and simply not enough time to do that because you also would want to have lunch, next Torc Waterfalls - it was an accident there, so we skipped it, next - 40 mins on the Inch beach, small drive along the coast with no stops to make photos, so if you're from the wrong side of the bus you won't see properly and have any photo of the Atlantic Ocean view, no Dingle town, no Killorglin.
You can see it from the screenshot of the route we had.
The nature is spectacular, although it's rather too much for such a short trip or just poor organized.

Alex was our driver and...
Alex was our driver and guide. He was very knowledgeable and nice. The drive out to the Dingle peninsula is long, so bring snacks and drinks! There is a quick stop in Adare on the way out, and at a service station on the return trip. There is time in Killarney for lunch, if you want to eat a meal there. The horse-drawn carriage ride through the National Park was fun! What beautiful views! Torc Waterfall was neat to see, even in the dryer conditions we saw it in.

Disappointing tour due to driver behaviour
I am writing this review from the bus itself. It was a very disappointing experience of Kerry due to the behaviour of the driver Kyle.
I've travelled with Paddywagon before (a tour to Cork) and had a fantastic experience, so this review is specifically about this tour and, unfortunately, the driver, Kyle.
I want to be fair and acknowledge that I was late returning to the bus at one stop by approximately seven minutes. I apologised for this and accept responsibility for being late.
However, I also think the circumstances matter. The itinerary mentioned Killarney National Park but did not make it clear that the drop-off point would leave passengers a considerable distance from the area many people expect to visit. I ended up walking much farther than anticipated, and on the return journey my local bus back was delayed, which contributed to me being late. Again, I accept that being late was my responsibility, but I don't believe it justified the way I was treated.
What really ruined the experience was the driver's attitude afterwards. I politely asked twice about the advertised stop at Dingle Bay because the itinerary mentioned it, yet we didn't stop there for photos. Meanwhile, we spent around 30 minutes at Inch Beach, even though the itinerary suggested a shorter stop. I simply wanted clarification.
Instead of answering professionally, Kyle became confrontational. When I had my phone out to show him the itinerary, he immediately asked whether I was recording him, which I was not. I was only referring to the itinerary. He then raised his voice, threatened to remove me from the bus, and spoke to me in a way that I found disrespectful and humiliating in front of the other passengers all because I was late at one stop.
I also noticed that I wasn't the only passenger being spoken to this way. Another couple who were only a few minutes late were also being reprimanded in a similar manner. While I understand that tours operate on a schedule and punctuality is important, there is a professional and respectful way to communicate with customers. Nobody really delayed the bus by a major amount of time and when we pay for something it's respectful to take us there. Many of us don't have the time to come back again here including myself. Coming to Kerry and not seeing the Dingle bay or ring was disappointing. According to the driver, the beach was the spot that covered it all.
This experience was disappointing because the scenery itself was beautiful, but the driver's conduct overshadowed what should have been an enjoyable day. My previous Paddywagon tour showed me how enjoyable these trips can be with a courteous and accommodating driver. Unfortunately, this experience was the complete opposite.
I hope Paddywagon reviews how its drivers communicate with passengers. Customers should be treated with respect, even when mistakes happen. Sadly, because of this experience, I won't be booking another Paddywagon tour.

Essential visit to Ireland, the experience is worth a visit!!
Excellent organization, very comfortable ride! We were lucky to be only 6 in the mini bus (weekday excursion) a real luxury because the journey is still long from Dublin. The road of the giants is definitely worth a visit, the place is unusual and full of history, the audio guide is indispensable for non-English speakers. We ate in the mythical Causeway Hotel, very warm and very good value for money.
For the excursion to Belfast, we took the option of a guide tour by black taxi: a tour made by a local guide who recounts, without bias, the events that marked Northern Ireland and especially the city of Belfast following the conflict between Protestants and Catholics, and a visit to the places marked by this conflict, which is still very much remembered because very recent.
Finally a word for our driver, Jim, who knew with finesse and hint of humor the history of Ireland and the Irish. Very rich, precise comments, a very kind person who contributed to the discovery of this beautiful country ️
Little advice: understanding English is a real added value to this excursion in order to understand the explanations of the driver and I would advise her more at the beginning of the trip than at the end, because it is still tiring.

Disappointed
I was quite disappointed with this tour.
We spent more time inside the bus than actually visiting places. The stops were short and honestly not very interesting.
The highlight for me was Killarney National Park, but we only had about 20 minutes there, which was just enough to see the Torc Waterfall. There wasn’t enough time to walk to the lakes or explore other areas.
The itinerary also mentioned Killorglin and Dingle Bay, but the bus didn’t stop at either of those places, we just drove past them.
The driver on the other hand was very friendly and the bus was comfortable, but overall I expected much more from this experience.

Wonderful Experience
Paddywagon does a great job of pointing out sites and explaining some of Ireland's history during the ride. We had plenty of time at photo stops to enjoy the scenery. Instead of dropping us off on our own in a new town, the guide took us on a short walk and highlighted some sites we could go back and explore more. The surprise excursion we could take via horse and buggy in the National Forest was a highlight. Highly recommend.

Bad bus driver
While the views were beautiful around the Ring of Kerry rude, passive aggressive, unhelpful driver. Went the whole trip anxious due to this. Left passengers unattended in hot bus for 20 minutes with no explanation 3 minutes in. Spent the first 15 minutes of the journey SCREAMING at us all for talking. Everyone stopped talking and he kept yelling to stop talking. this dude hearing things? He yelled at us and pulled over and then spoke for maybe 5 minutes. The meltdown was longer than his talking. Every question about what time we had to get back, etc., was met with a passive aggressive comment. You could hear his road rage and passive aggressive comments about passengers as well. The guy seemed stressed out, god forbid we want to clarity to not make him more angry. While i’m very understanding that this is a stressful job, the attitude wasn’t necessary. We did 4 buses this week and all of the other drivers were beyond positive and charming.

Dingle Bay tour - my advice: avoid PaddyWagon
To begin with, the bus was full with only two seats when we boarded, hence we had no choice for seats. The driver was Nico and his English was very poor. I’m sorry, but there’s no excuse in a country which produced such poets and writers as Yeats, George Bernard Shaw and Oscar Wilde to give narration to someone who badly needs an English conversation class. Also, the bus is far too big for the small roads around Dingle. Examples of Nico’s speech were “You can see wall from stones” and “We will be stop soon” and “I will be doing slow drive because coming cliffs”.

Disappointing experience
A very disappointing tour considering the time and money you spent.
If you want to spend about 11 hours in a bus ride and 1 hour at gas stations then go ahead.
Except a small beach nothing special and a small waterfall don’t expect too see much.
A guide who hardly explains anything except asking which music he wants to play in the bus and always delayed departures due to some guests not showing up on time the whole experience was a big 0.
Wouldn’t recommend to anyone
