Great and convenient tour. Phillip (guide) and Hugh (driver) were fab. Absolute wealth of knowledge on every topic at each stop and the countryside that connected each. Kilkenny is a very cool town with tons to do, and there is the ability buy a ticket and take a train back to Dublin if you decide to leave the group. Glendalough is flawless. What a magical place.
Fun trip, great guide but bus was larger than we expected. We assumed by description that it would be a mini-bus
It was great. Vinny certainly knew his stuff and Alec was a great driver.
Theresa (guide) and Mark (bus driver) were excellent on this trip, which was a good balance of guided and free time.
I was most impressed with my day out ! Mike was amazing. The stories, history and folklore were really interesting.. not boring like school history lessons 😜. Kiwi driver lovely too. Such a nice relationship between Driver and guide ! 😘. I also loved the little sing song each way. Ps I’m from Dublin but have lived between here and Canada for years. So I’m not your typical tourist/newcomer. GREAT JOB. Collins tours 🥰
Booked this tour last minute and very luckily we picked a very good one. Convenient pick-up and drop-off points. Great value for money and covered lovely places that would otherwise a bit tedious for non-driving tourists to go on their own from Dublin. The whole tour lasted for around 9 hours but the pace wasn't rushed. Enough time for exploration and photo taking The tour guide Mac was wonderful. Explained everything clearly along the route, gave recommendations on restaurants and sang beautifully! Paul the driver was also amazing and very helpful.
A wonderful day spent at Glendalough and Kilkemny. Excellent crew - Mike was an ideal guide - informative, caring and entertaining, Adam is one of the best drivers we have ever experienced. Thanks Mike and Adam! The weather was perfect. Overall a relaxing day seeing these treasures of Ireland. We thoroughly recommend this tour.
Little time in Glendalough but enough to leave with a good taste in your mouth, magnificent landscapes on the bus route, and Kilkenny is an interesting medieval town with a recognizable original urban layout, ancient churches, and an imposing castle.
Nice views, calm and good pace with the bus. The guide did all day with singing and funny stories about all the places we visited. Can warmly recommend this excursion.
The tour was super nice. We were also lucky enough to have great weather. The lakes with the mountains in the background are beautiful. Kilkenny is also a beautiful place with many impressive buildings. Mike and Adam were also a great duo and got us through the day wonderfully. Mike also sang us a few Irish songs. I found the tour very varied and would highly recommend it.
