Descrizione

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ The highlight of our Alaska cruise!

This was hands down the best excursion we booked in Juneau. The small group size made it feel incredibly personal, and kayaking through the calm waters with the Mendenhall Glacier towering in the distance was something I'll never forget. The scenery was absolutely breathtaking, and we were lucky enough to see seals, bald eagles, jumping salmon, and even check a crab pot! Our guide was friendly, knowledgeable, and made everyone feel comfortable, even those of us with little kayaking experience. The dry suits kept us warm and dry, and everything was well organized from pickup to drop-off. We never felt rushed and had plenty of time to soak in the incredible views and take photos. If you're trying to decide between this and one of the crowded bus tours, choose this. Being out on the water gives you a completely different perspective of Juneau and the Mendenhall Glacier that you simply can't get from land. It's peaceful, adventurous, and worth every penny. I would book this again in a heartbeat and recommend it to anyone visiting Alaska!

This Kayaking trip was...

This Kayaking trip was amazing!! Our guide Jordyn was the Best!! She kept us safe, warm, and dry and showed us all the wildlife we were hoping to see! The many eagles were incredible but nothing could beat our many friendly seals swimming nearby! The Mendenhall Glacier was so easily seen and Jordyn made sure we had a super cute family photo in the cove with the glacier behind! We will truly treasure it! We had the best time and would do it again and again!!

11/10 Experience <3

AMAZING!!! I cannot express how stellar this experience truly was. One of the main highlights of our Alaska trip for sure. Jordan (our guide) was so so SO fun, knowledgeable, and friendly! Honestly, this experience really made me and my partner want to buy kayaks... and I think we will as soon as we get home! I highly recommend booking this—you will not regret it :)

Wonderful kayak trip with Jacob!

We had amazing weather so we had a great sightline to the glacier, but if there is fog, your visibility will be limited. Jacob was a wonderful and informative guide. We saw eagles and jumping salmon. It was a very chill experience. We had a light snack about half way through on a sand bar. Unless you request a two-person kayak in advance, you should expect to paddle solo.

Glorious Juneau Kayak Experience

Pure magic! My guide Jordan made this 50+ lady feel like I was her young local friend. We even stopped by all the crab traps to check hers for a catch. I happened to be the only person booked in my tour slot, but I’m sure I would have felt the same with a group. Spectacular glacier views presented on the water. As a special bonus, a curious seal followed us for awhile, no doubt sensing our respect of his habitat. This kayak excursion was the highlight of my Alaska cruise for sure! Thank you so much A+++!

Great views, not really...

Great views, not really a kayaking trip. More like a “float and look around,” which if that is what you are looking for, this trip is perfect. Tour guide was outstanding.

A Bit Misleading

We enjoyed our time on the water and the sights, but the description is a bit misleading. Yes, you can see the glacier, but it is 7-8 miles away in the distance. Our guide, Lillian, was knowledgeable and accommodating to our group. Customer service was appreciated.

Would highly reccomend kayaking with Jordan and Jacob!

Jordan and a Jacob did a wonderful job at guiding us through Juneau’s waters. They were such fun company and made our kayaking trip memorable! The views were stunning - we got to see the Mendenhall Glacier and several wildlife, from jumping salmon to seals to eagles. They gave us all the gear required and it was excellent quality. They also provided us with snacks. We would highly recommend kayaking with them!

Amazing Adventure

We had an amazing time on this excursion during our cruise stop in Juneau. Jacob the guide was awesome! I had experience kayaking but my kids 16&13 did not and he was super encouraging and patient with them! We had a seal swimming around us which was their highlight of the day and the views on the water of the mountains were fantastic! Weather was also on our side with clear views of the glacier. I loved when we stopped on the beach, you felt as if you were in a remote secret spot in Alaska away from all the cruise ship crowds! The only downfall was that my husband wanted to see the glacier closer and we were further away than he was expecting so we paired our morning kayak with a second self guided taxi drive to the national park and the glacier and walked to the view point and the falls as well!
