Itinerario del pilastro, punti panoramici della valle e vulcani Entriamo nel mezzo di enormi farelloni di pietra vulcanica alti 30 metri scolpiti "a combo e scalpello", facciate e sculture coloniali. Qui avremo un momento illustre con i maestri scalpellatori, noti come "tagliatori". Riveleranno le loro tecniche di lavoro dal vivo in modo che in seguito possiamo farlo con le nostre mani. Vedremo gigantesche cadute di blocchi e la meravigliosa esperienza di guardare piccoli blocchi di bugnati realizzati con strumenti ancestrali usati di generazione in generazione. Dirigendosi al Mirador de Carmen Alto !!! Visiteremo i punti di vista tradizionali e imperdibili di Arequipa, Mirador de Carmen Alto per apprezzare la valle di Chilina e i nostri 3 vulcani, Chachani, Misti e Pichupichu. Il secondo punto di vista è a Yanahuara. Qui mangeremo ricchi dessert tradizionali e compreremo souvenir unici fatti a mano in piazza.

Not that exciting and interactive as I was hoping it would be. Our tour guide and driver were very nice.
I´m sorry you didn´t enjoy the areas we visited :( the places are very cultural and maybe not interactive as you say :( We´ll be more than happy to arrange something to leave you with a good taste after Arequipa :)
Wonderful and amazing!!! Thankful for the kindness of the travel agents, patience and willingness in case of doubts or inconvenience that arose to assemble the itinerary according to our tastes! This was an amazing tour of the Ruta de Sillar, including stops at the Mirador de Yanahuara and Mirador de Carmen Alto. Our guide Olivia was fantastic at providing us with information and answering any questions we had. It was also very convenient that the tour company offered to pick us up and drop us off at our hotel directly. We appreciated their timeliness, hospitality, and knowledge of the area and culture.

Our trip to Sillar was on time, comprehensive, and good value for money. Everything was included, including water and entry. The car was clean, working seatbelts, and safe driving. Our guide, Sline, was so knowledgeable and always had something to add. We never felt rushed. At the mine, we saw other groups stop for 15 minutes to take photos and go, while we walked through and were given explanations of the statues' significance, cost, etc. So I was glad to be on my tour. I would recommend it for a casual morning out.

The tour of the quarry was awesome but also a little sad to see the craftsman working in that heat... I loved Yanahuara District!! It is a beautiful district with a great viewpoint:) Also has the most beautiful park with fountain in the middle.
