1 - MOSCHEA BLU: La moschea blu è una moschea imperiale di 400 anni ed è stata costruita dall'Impero Ottomano nel XVII secolo d.C. • È famosa per le sue ventimila piastrelle di ceramica blu. All'interno, si sta andando a vedere le belle piastrelle blu della moschea insieme vetrate colorate .. • C'è un codice di abbigliamento per visitare la moschea; Le donne hanno bisogno di velo e abiti lunghi / pantaloni per coprire il ginocchio e gli uomini hanno anche bisogno di pantaloni lunghi per coprire le ginocchia È libero di entrare
2 - HAGIA SOPHIA : oggi è in parte in restauro Santa Sofia è una delle più antiche cattedrali di Costantinopoli / Istanbul ed è stata costruita dall'Impero Romano d'Oriente nel VI secolo d.C. E ancora in piedi per 1500 anni con la sua enorme cupola. • Fu utilizzata come cattedrale per circa mille anni durante il periodo romano e poi fu convertita in moschea dopo che l'Impero Ottomano prese possesso della città nel 1453 • Oggi è in parte utilizzato come moschea e museo insieme. All'interno, vedrai icone e motivi del periodo romano e aggiunte del periodo ottomano •C'è un codice di abbigliamento da inserire. Le donne hanno bisogno di velo e abiti lunghi che coprano il ginocchio e anche gli uomini hanno bisogno di pantaloni per coprire le ginocchia
3 - PALAZZO TOPKAPI : Palazzo Topkapi è un palazzo imperiale con un grande complesso che ha ospitato l'impero ottomano di 600 anni per circa 400 anni. È stato costruito dal sultano ottomano Mehmet II. Nel XV secolo d.C. dopo la presa di Costantinopoli. • Fu utilizzato come residenza dei sultani ottomani e il palazzo imperiale dell'impero. •in molte sale si possono vedere oggetti del periodo ottomano Attenzione; • (PALAZZO TOPKAPI È CHIUSO il martedì ) • (Le guide turistiche non sono autorizzate ad accompagnarvi in “alcune” grandi sale espositive private del palazzo a causa del numeroso gruppo di visite guidate)
4 - CISTERNA BASILICA Fu costruito come serbatoio / serbatoio idrico sotterraneo nel VI secolo d.C. dall'Impero Romano per fornire l'acqua alla città . Oggi è adibito a museo poiché non è più un serbatoio attivo. Quando scendete per circa 10 metri sottoterra, vi sentirete in una misteriosa città sotterranea insieme a tanti pilastri e luci colorate. È stato luogo di riprese di alcuni film come Dalla Russia con amore (1963) – James Bond e Inferno (2016) – Tom Hanks, tratto dal romanzo di Dan Brown.
6- IPPODROMO • La piazza che oggi chiamiamo ippodromo fu costruita dall'imperatore Costantino il Grande nel IV secolo d.C. dopo che scelse la città come nuova capitale dell'Impero Romano • L’ippodromo era fondamentalmente utilizzato per le corse dei carri ed era l’attività più popolare in città. •Oggi nell'ippodromo vedrete l'obelisco egiziano dall'Egitto, la colonna del serpente dalla Grecia, la fontana tedesca dalla Germania e l'obelisco murato dalla città.
5 - GRAN BAZAR Grand bazar è un mercato storico di 500 anni dal tempo ottomano ed è stato costruito nel 1461. All'interno ce ne sono 3.500. Negozi di , ceramica , spezie , dolci , delizia , gioielli e tappeti fatti a mano . Come parte del mercato assisterete alla dimostrazione di artigianato del ricamo del patrimonio culturale e dimostrazioni di vasi di terracotta Il Grand Bazar è CHIUSO LA DOMENICA

Guide was very well educated in the culture and history sites visited. She was very patient and flexible with our needs
This one tour was to be the highlight of our vacation, a guided tour through the main sites of Istanbul. The guide was fairly knowledgeable during the tour, however during our purchased tour time he took us to his friends rug business. This was not part of the tour and occurred during our scheduled tour time. We were solicited for over an hour at this shop to purchase a rug where I’m certain he received a commission. I felt as though I was on a timeshare sales pitch and pressured to buy. He never asked our permission to go there, and acted as though this was part of our paid tour. This totally caught us off guard and we were extremely upset about it. It ruined the entire tour and our day in Istanbul. In addition, he was on his phone a lot while he was with us and we felt the info he provided was quite minimal. We did see all the sites on our list. Our guide wasn’t rude, he was pleasant during his time with us, but we were not satisfied with the overall experience.
We absolutely loved this tour. It was an incredible way to experience Istanbul and see so many of the city’s major historic sites in a single day without ever feeling rushed or overwhelmed. Everything was well organized, thoughtful, and easy, and having a private guide made an enormous difference—we were able to ask questions, linger when something particularly interested us, and actually understand the history and significance of what we were seeing rather than simply moving from landmark to landmark. Istanbul has an extraordinary amount of history layered into one city, and this tour gave us a much deeper appreciation for it. We finished the day feeling like we had genuinely learned something while also having a wonderful time. One of the highlights of our trip to Türkiye and absolutely worth doing. Highly recommend.

What a great experience , our tour guide Sude was a gem. She took us all over and even though the Grand Bazar was closed cause it was Sunday we went to the Egyptian Bazar just as good. Highly recommend this tour.
An absolutely amazing tour! Sude was the highlight of our stay in Istanbul. She was super knowledgeable and was able to answer all our history questions. We learned so much without it feeling like a boring history class. So much enthousiasm, humour, fun facts, all around the perfect balance! You must ask for Sude if you book this tour, you will have the best day!

You allocated professional guide Renan to look after us. She did an amazing job. We were pleasantly surprised that it was an individual tour and not a group tour. She was able to answer all my questions ( I'm a bit of a history buff) . The other remarkable thing was her ability to skip the long queues at various sites as she obviously knew how to do this. Renan was very kind,personable,she listened to what our interests were and adjusted the tour accordingly. We had an amazing day. Thankyou Renan and Viatour. Well done.
