Roy (Rui) was super sweet and filled us in on the history without overdoing it. He guided us on a walking tour that ended with a great tapas meal with wine. Ended on sunset cruise. We enjoyed the time with him….was a great evening activity
Rui was the best guide. So knowledgeable, hospitable and funny. We learned so much about Lisbon, ate delicious food and had many great laughs. The sunset cruise was a wonderful end to a great tour. I highly recommend Rui and this tour.

The walking tour took us around some of the hidden delights of Alfama. Our guide, Francisco, was knowledgeable and able to explain the impact of events like the 1755 earthquake, as well as introducing us to the street lifts and local architectural features. The walking tour culminated in a range of locally produced tasting dishes and a very pleasant glass of wine. The sunset sailing tour was similarly pleasant, with a good amount of time on board and plenty of refreshments served.
The tour was amazing, our guide Paulo Carmo was simply outstanding, knowledgeable, friendly, kind and so passionate about the history of the area and of his country, Portugal. We recommend him hands down!!
This was a crazy and wonderful tour. Our guide, Rui was awesome! This tour started as a walking history tour, then we sat in a beautiful little restaurant for the food tour and after that, it turned into a sunset cruise on a beautiful "traditional boat." They kept coming around to fill our wine glasses! What a party. LOL. This overall experience was truly unexpected and way beyond our expectations.
