We had an absolutely amazing food and culture tour with John in Valletta today. From start to finish, the experience was seamless, well organised, and thoroughly enjoyable. The selection of authentic Maltese food was excellent, giving us the opportunity to taste a wonderful variety of local flavours. What made the tour truly exceptional, however, was John’s incredible knowledge and passion for Malta’s history. He explained the fascinating history of Malta—and especially Valletta—with such clarity and enthusiasm that it brought the city to life. If you’re visiting Malta and want to experience both its cuisine and its rich heritage, I can highly recommend this tour with John. It was one of the highlights of our trip and an experience we’ll remember for a long time.
We arrived in Malta late yesterday so today was our first full day. I'm so glad we booked this tour. It was an excellent and delicious way to learn about the history and food of this lovely place. Our tour guide Charlotte was an excellent guide, whom we could tell enjoyed sharing her Maltese heritage and traditions with us. Bring an appetite because you will be trying everything from sweet pastries (Mqaret), to Maltas national soft drink (Kinnie) to rabbit stew (Stuffat Tal-Fenek) as well as many other specialties all served with a side of history and culture. We really enjoyed the tour and our guide (she had great energy).
A great trip with our guide Dillon who was full of enthusiasm and knowledge on the walking food trip.
Tour was great, lots of history, clear speaking friendly tour guide, great selection of foods to try, great to find out about a city a barely knew anything about. Just be aware it’s hot, good shoes and lots of sun cream.

Ernest was an amazing guide! He was knowledgeable about the food and culture of Malta. He was so friendly and engaging and went out of his way to sit and socialize with us.
Charlotte was an excellent guide. she was quite knowledgeable and shared personal experience and history with us. A great way to experience some of the food the culture of Malta. The food tastings were great as well.
Food is just ok. Choices for food could have been better. It would have been better if the guide passed out food in the beginning instead of talking for 1/2 hour before first tasting

Food tour had too much history at the beginning of tour, should of started tour WITH food if guide was going to talk at that length. Also the guide was not very customer friendly. I initiated conversation with him twice and both times was met with à cold verbal response and gave me a look like I was an idiot. I was made to feel very uncomfortable.
