This tour was really wonderful experience for me and my partner. Our guy Tina was really wonderful. She was very kind very friendly and open very and very helpful. We had some difficulties with our pick up point, but Tina and zhang the driver, made sure that we got everything to work out . I think this was a great experience. We saw so much of the city so many things and Tina‘s knowledge of the history of China absolutely great. I really was happy that we learned so much about the history of China in general and then of course, especially with the terra-cotta warriors I think this is the best cultural tour in Xian.
Amazing experience with Cindy and our driver Mr Dong. The tour was easy and ran very smoothly. Didnt have to wait for anything, very well organised. Cindy speaks amazing English and is always so plesant and makes you feel at ease. Very knowledgeable about the area and would absolutley recommend. Will 100% be returning.
Tina was an excellent tour guide and explained to us many things, from the history of Xi ‘an, the Terracotta army, Qin Shi Huang, and the City Wall to the background of the Big Wild Goose Pagoda. She is very knowledgeable and attentive to our questions!
It was fantastic experience would highly recommend this tour, as get to do all the main attractions in one day. Very helpful and friendly
It was a great experience! The tour started in the morning by visiting the terracotta warriors together with our fantastic guide Tina and the driver! She was all the day with us and she is a very knowledgeable person…and really helpful and friendly!😊 the dinner and traditional show was also perfect! We highly recommend this tour in Xi'an!👍
My wife and I opted for a private tour, as it is better suited to our ages. Our tour guide Linda was great. She was very patient when we were a little late starting out. She explained everything very well, navigated us expertly in crowded areas and showed us the best highlights of the Terra Cotta army. We saw all three pits with excellent explanations. She also patiently answered all our questions. We then had a very tasty and filling lunch along the way back to town. In town we first went to the Wild Goose Pagoda, then to the city wall entrance and up the wall to the Arrow Tower. We walked in the Pagoda area and on the city wall, with Linda explaining details and history. We were then driven to the theater for an elaborate dinner complete with rice wine, and a colorful beautiful show with music and dancing. Our driver was also great and made sure we were comfortable and embarked and disembarked at the most suitable locations. He also did not mind stopping at an ATM for us to replenish our dwindling Yuan supply. We enjoyed the tour immensely, thanks to both of them and the planners of the tour.
Tina is an excelente guide. I spend 2 days with Tina and she showed me all highlights of Xi An She speaks excelent English and has an extraordinary history knowledge of China
Working with Terracotta Warriors Tour was great. Olivia was very responsive and worked with us to tailor this tour for our schedule to see the show one night and tour the other day. Olivia also gave us a superb guide, Linda and an amazing driver for the entire time we were in Xian. Linda, a local from Xian, was of course very knowledgeble about the history of this area and the Terracotta Warriors. She spoke excellent English, was very easy to understand and could not have managed the day more perfectly for us to see far more than we had even hoped would be possible. This was quite a feat, especially for our incredible driver navigating road closures due to the Chinese New Year celebrations and icy conditions. She selected a great restaurant near the Warriors Museum, whose staff was great as was the food and tea that Linda suggested. Linda also showed us numerous areas within the old city walls, which were added highlights to the day. Hats off to the Terracotta Warriors Tour Company and to the guide Linda and the driver they had for us. We had a perfect day, ending with the Tang Dynasty dinner show with the most ideal seats in the house!
Dear Mr. Frazier, Thanks very much for sharing your positive experience with us. Linda and our team are grateful for your business and will try our best to maintain our service quality in the future. Sincerely yours, Mason
I had previously visited china visiting Shenzen and was fortunate enough to see the Terracotta Warriors on display in a museum. I made the decision to come Xi'an and see the Terracotta Warriors. I was extremely happy to have Tina Yang as my tour guide, Tina's knowledge and history was outstanding. I am looking to come back to Xi'an really soon and I look forward to having Tina as my guide. It should be noted Tina's attention to detail is second to none always prompt to ensure that you do not miss out on any thing totally outstanding
Maggie The team at Terracotta Warriors Tours were most helpful. All of my partner’s emailed enquiries were responded to promptly by Olivia Wong. We booked a best of Xi’an tour (without the dinner option) it incorporated an unmissable visit to the terracotta warriors and two other excursions of our choice based on the recommendations. Our friendly tour guide Maggie was very experienced, was fluent in English and knowledgeable, she went out of her way to make our trip to Xi’an memorable. She helped us to organise museum tickets for the following day and wrote helpful phrases in Chinese in case we needed further assistance when she wasn’t around. Do take her advice and rise early when visiting the Terracotta Warriors. You will avoid the hordes that turn up in later in the morning. Entry tickets to all sights were not included in the tour cost, if you plan to visit the Xi’an Museum it’s a popular tourist destination and we were unaware that the tickets need to pre-purchased at least two days in advance. At Maggie’s suggestion we opted for the quieter Shaanxi Municipal Museum which is apparently very much the same in content but with mercifully smaller crowds. It’s well worth a visit and displays a fine collection of historical artefacts.
