Il canyon di Nazaré, una formazione naturale che crea un buco molto profondo e ampio nel fondale marino proprio accanto alla costa, crea onde enormi che rendono questo spot, Praia do Norte, una Meca per i surfisti avventurosi di tutto il mondo. Il canyon nasconde anche un sottomarino nazista, affondato lì apposta per non essere mai più ritrovato... Visiteremo anche il Santuario e la Cappella della Memoria e potremo avere una vista mozzafiato di Nazaré e di gran parte della costa della Costa d'Argento (fino alle Isole Berlengas). Ultimo ma non meno importante, conoscerai anche Nazaré stessa, un tradizionale villaggio di pescatori unico nel suo genere, i suoi stretti vicoli affacciati sul mare e le sue antiche tradizioni come il "pesce secco" e gli enigmatici "panorami" ” di donne locali che indossano le loro famose sette gonne.

We had a great time on this private Tour of Nazare. Our tour guide, João Pedro gave us a great background of the history of this charming seaside fishing town which is now world famous for its huge waves in the winter. We visited many of the sites in the city ending at the famous lighthouse overlooking the huge surf beach. We highly recommend this tour for anyone visiting this beach city.
