Se sei alla ricerca di un viaggio con tante tappe diverse questo è il tour che fa per te, in un solo giorno visiterai un luogo altamente spirituale (il Santuario di Fátima), il miglior esempio di architettura gotica del Portogallo (il Monastero di Batalha), l'antico villaggio di pescatori conosciuto al giorno d'oggi in tutto il mondo come la "Mecca del surf" (Nazaré) e un delizioso borgo medievale (Obidos)... il tutto in un solo giorno e senza lunghi tragitti in auto.

In questo fantastico tour privato partiremo da Lisbona e dopo un'ora di viaggio raggiungeremo il Santuario di Fátima, dove visiteremo tre luoghi di interesse, in cui potrai assistere a una messa (facoltativo), e la Cappella delle Apparizioni, la prima cappella a essere costruita subito dopo le apparizioni in un punto di rilievo, non per dimensioni o grandezza, ma per la posizione, ovvero al centro del Santuario. La Basilica di Nostra Signora del Rosario, costruita nel 1928 in stile neo barocco, ospita oggi le tombe dei bambini, ma anche la tomba di Suor Lucia, scomparsa nel 2005, mentre la Basilica della Santissima Trinità, una chiesa moderna e piuttosto imponente progettata dall'architetto greco Alexandros Tombazis, fu costruita nel 2007 con più di 8.000 posti a sedere e una superficie di 40.000 m².
La nuda pietra dalla tonalità calda rende il Monastero di Batalha un importante monumento della storia del Portogallo, fu infatti costruito in un periodo di riaffermazione di indipendenza dalla Castiglia (Spagna) Un edificio tardogotico, frutto della sapiente gestione dei più grandi maestri portoghesi e internazionali, a partire dal fondatore, il maestro Afonso Domingues, al geniale Huguet, fino allo "stile manuelino" di Mateus Fernandes, con la Cappella del Fondatore e le "Cappelle imperfette", pantheon di re e principi segnati dalla scolastica dei frati domenicani, a rappresentare la città celeste.
Nazaré, primo luogo di culto del Portogallo, è un pittoresco villaggio dal passato intenso, ben rappresentato dal patrimonio architettonico, con molte chiese e case tradizionali che creano un'atmosfera davvero caratteristica. Negli ultimi anni il Canyon di Nazaré, con le sue onde altissime, ha reso Nazaré famoso in tutto il mondo, e nel 2013 il surfista americano McNamara ha battuto il record mondiale surfando su un'onda alta circa 30 m. Un'altra curiosità è rappresentata dalle Sette gonne di Nazaré, abito tradizionale che le donne indossano con orgoglio.
A Obidos (Patrimonio dell'Umanità dell'UNESCO), ti riporteremo indietro nel tempo conducendoti per le splendide stradine ricche di botteghe tradizionali incastonate tra le vecchie case dipinte di bianco, lì potrai camminare tra le mura immaginando la vita quotidiana nel Medioevo. Obidos fu il regalo di nozze da parte di D. Dinis alla moglie D. Isabel, il villaggio divenne quindi parte della Casa das Rainhas, estintasi solo nel 1834, e la maggior parte delle regine portoghesi vi hanno fatto visita, lasciando grandi benefici. D. Catarina fece costruire l'acquedotto e le fontane.

We had an unforgettable experience! The private tour exceeded our expectations. We were fortunate to be guided by Diogo, who was very kind, professional, knowledgeable and patient. I wish our trip was a bit longer to be able to book other destinations with them.
Great personalized tour of Fatima, Nazare and Obidos. Tips: Have a sense of where you want to spend your time. Nazare is a beach town with some great views - not so much to see otherwise, but a good lunch stop. One could spend 1/2 day just at Fatima, especially if you are Catholic. Obidos is cool to see - you could linger there in one of the bars or restaurants, otherwise an hour unless you want to do a lot of shopping. We had Pedro as our guide - he was very courteous and personable!
We are coming back from doing this tour feeling quite disappointed as we have been unlucky to meet a guide (Jose is the name by the way)nothing professional. First of all, he did not speak fluent Spanish and we had a hard time understanding his explanations. It was dry, not pleasant and not helpful. We had to get the information from him at the beginning and in the end we ended up desisting from asking and searching the information online. We really could have done this tour on our own account and now almost 500 euros as it only served as a driver (we went to Lisbon in our own car by the way) and also creating an unpleasant atmosphere in all aspects. Another thing that disappointed me is that in Obidos you are sold the story of typical cherry liquor tastings but you have to pay for it, not as in other tours that offer you typical sweets like in Sintra and Belém. We feel quite conned with this experience and will never book with this company again obviously. A dire experience.

En cuanto al coste del tour, es importante señalar que las plataformas de gestión de servicios tienen comisiones que se reflejan en el precio final. Sin embargo, lo más importante y que no menciona en su crítica, es que usted no pagó absolutamente nada. Ante su malestar expresado mediante los mensajes que nos envió mientras aún estaba en el coche, decidimos restituirle el 100% del valor del tour ese mismo día. Nuestra prioridad era su bienestar y, aunque el servicio no cumplió sus expectativas debido a este contratiempo de salud de nuestro equipo, actuamos con total responsabilidad y honestidad financiera de inmediato. This was our best tour on our vacation. Paula called me via WhatsApp a few minutes prior to our meeting time to let us know that she was at the end of the Gangplank and gave us her description. She was there waiting and immediately escorted us to her vehicle. Our small group was on the road prior to any ship excursion even made it to shore. She was detailed on our full itinerary and timeframes at each location. Our trip to Fatima was fast and fantastic. We got there quickly and managed to see everything before the Ship guided tours arrived. Beating the crowds from the ship made seeing everything quick and easy. She never had to rush us and kept sharing facts and history about the locations we were visiting. I wish I can give her a higher rating here. Keeping our group together was like herding cats at times, but she did it all with a smile. When our tour was completed, she monitored traffic and knew all the roads. She got us back to our ship with plenty of time to spare. We came to Lisbon looking for a tour guide. We ended up leaving a close Friend behind. We love you Paula and hope to see you again in our future travels to Portugal.
Private drive to Fatima. We toured ourselves and loved it. Driver was very good, completely flexible and efficient dropped us right at the entrance and pickup the same. Nice half day from Lisbon.

Victor was our driver and guide. He gave us all the time we wanted to pray and tour around Fatima. We went to town with all of our photo opportunity in Batalha, Nazare, and especially Obidos. Even though it was a long day, he was very patient with us and did not rush us at all. He recommended Mosteiro Do Leitao for lunch. Their crispy pork did not disappoint. He even made a list of recommended restaurants by locals in Lisbon for us. He's a safe driver, patient guide, and definitely know his food. The whole trip was seamless.
