We recently booked a half-day tour of Lisbon with Portugal Magik, and it exceeded every expectation. From start to finish, this was exactly the kind of personal, enriching experience we were hoping for during our time in Portugal. Our guide, Victor, was absolutely exceptional. His English was flawless (he also speaks French), and his warm, congenial personality immediately put us at ease. What truly set him apart was his genuine passion for Portuguese history and culture—he didn't just recite facts, he brought the stories of Lisbon to life with an enthusiasm that was infectious. You could tell he truly loves what he does and takes pride in sharing his knowledge with visitors. The tour itself was perfectly paced and thoughtfully designed. Victor picked us up in a comfortable Mercedes van that easily accommodated my husband, father-in-law, and me. The journey from Cascais, where we were staying, became part of the experience itself—Victor stopped at various points along the way to share local history and point out interesting sights. He struck the perfect balance between showing us Lisbon's must-see highlights and accommodating our personal requests, making the tour feel tailored just for us. What impressed us most was the level of personalization and flexibility. This wasn't a cookie-cutter bus tour; it was an intimate exploration of Lisbon through the eyes of someone who knows and loves the city. Victor's insights gave us a much deeper understanding and appreciation of the places we visited. The value was also remarkable. The price was very reasonable, and honestly, we feel we received far more than our money's worth. We had the best experience with Portugal Magik private tours. We went on several excursions with Diogo and Vasco. Their knowledge of the history and landscape of Lisbon and the surrounding area was outstanding! From a city tour of Lisbon and the harbor to Nazare, from Cascais to Sintra and Óbidos every single tour was excellent! They also had great recommendations for shops and restaurants. The Fado singers were the best! We will definitely be back and use their services again!

This is about our Day experience in Lisbon-Fatima by Portugal Magik Tours. João Madeira or John was A-mazing. He is extremely polite, knowledgeable and very sensitive to our needs. My wife and daughter grew very fond of him as his personality is contagious. He is also very knowledgeable and provided us with amazing nuggets of history to appreciate our trip even better. Your company did a great job and John's efforts is highly appreciated. It was a pleasure having him. We also enjoyed the special wonderful meal he organised and it was so great listening to his stories about family. He made it so special that he was like part of our family during the trip. We will be back to Portugal and will certainly continue with Portugal Magik Tours. My husband and I arrived on 4/11/2025. We had booked 3 tours starting on 4/12/2025 with Gonzalo and Portugal Magic, from our home in Florida. I had been following Gonzalo and received helpful emails from his company for about a year. We were paired with Vasco Costa. He was a very knowledgeable and entertaining guide who is local to the area. DAY 1: We did the private city tour and Vasco Costa planned the perfect itinerary for two over 60 year old clients. He made sure we walked enough but not too much and covered all the important highlights. We were so excited about our journey and seeing all the sights on our list plus many more. The experience was definitely curated to fit our specific needs. The Mercedes Benz was clean and comfortable and water was provided. DAY 2: We did an early pick-up so we could beat the crowds at Sintra and Peña Palace. We purchased transfer tickets ahead of time and I recommend you do the same. We walked up but rode down. It was beautiful and Vasco kept us at a good and not too demanding pace. Peña Palace is a must. I do however recommend Tuesday through Friday, if at all possible, as the weekend crowds are heavy. You must see Cabo de Roca and snap a picture. Again… better to do this during the week. We especially enjoyed the visit to Cascais and would consider staying there on a future trip. We had a lovely lunch and what a cool village. DAY 3: Today we visited Évora and Monsaraz and had the absolute best day ever. Vasco and Gonzalo planned a perfect itinerary to match our personality which included the most amazing wine tasting. Evora and Monsaraz are charming and quiet villages which we would return to again and again. The private wine tasting was the best ever and my husband and I have been to more than we can count. Mostly wine tastings in California, Italy and France. The personal attention was amazing and the wine was very … very good. I can’t tell you the name as it is quite exclusive and you need to book your own tour to experience this special treat. All I can say is Portugal Magic, owner Gonzalo and especially Vasco Costa, our private guide, over delivered, just as I hoped they would do. Thank you team Portugal Magic and we plan to return to Portugal again very soon.

We used Portugal Magik for two full private touring days in the Lisbon area with Francisco Canas as our guide. On day one, we did the Lisbon Historical + Jewish Highlights + Belem tour and on day two we did the Sintra tour. The Lisbon Historical (etc.) tour gave us a close up overview of the various neighborhoods in the city. Francisco was terrific at tailoring the tour to our needs and desires (we enjoyed the heavy emphasis on walking in certain areas as we requested) and was terrific at explaining the history of the city and its key sights. We particularly enjoyed stopping at local places for snacks, drinks and meals which gave us a great feel for life in Lisbon. The Sintra tour was also outstanding. Rainy weather made things somewhat of a challenge, but Francisco handled it well. As we did on day one, we got to stop at some local establishments for snacks and meals which we really enjoyed. We recommend that you ask specifically for Francisco Canas. He is local to the Lisbon area, speaks perfect English, is very knowledgeable about the city and its history and is very easy to converse with over the couple of days. He made our touring in Lisbon and Sintra a special treat.

We had the most wonderful experience with two private tours! Our first was a private pickup from the airport and a tour of Lisbon on the day we arrived. Miguel Safara was our driver/guide and he was exceptional! We were also lucky enough to have Miguel on our second private tour of Sintra and Pena Palace! Portugal Majik tours provided the most informative and responsive customer service during the months leading up to our trip. I would 100% recommend them for anyone's visit to Portugal!

This was a fabulous tour. Andre was very knowledgeable about all of Lisbon and kept my teenagers entertained. I was fascinated by all the history. Andre also took some fabulous pictures. The vehicle was immaculately clean and Andre was a safe driver. I would not hesitate to book with Portugal Magik again.

Our tour of Lisbon’s City Highlights was wonderful. We were a family of 7 ( with 2 teenagers) and everyone enjoyed the many beautiful and historic places that we were taken to. Our tour guide, Victor, was knowledgeable, very personable and funny! He was sensitive to our individual needs and very accommodating to our requests. Would highly recommend this tour.

An excellent day out with Portugal Magik touring the areas around Lisbon. Great car, knowledgeable and friendly driver who made it very easy for us to enjoy ourselves without needing to think about anything, which is exactly what I want on vacation. Even more, the company gave me absolutely zero hassles to redeem a credit from over two years prior (another family member who'd booked a tour was unable to use it at due to an injury just a few days prior to her scheduled trip). That shows a lot of integrity to me. The communication from start to finish, from booking to reminders to meeting the driver to finishing up the trip, was top notch. I'll contact them again for sure.
