Questo è il nostro tour preferito! Una delle esperienze più uniche al mondo, percorrendo la storica autostrada costruita per la Model Ts con la spettacolare Columbia Gorge che si apre sotto di noi. Trasportiamo i nostri ospiti e le biciclette in comodi furgoni e le nostre guide viaggiano con i nostri piccoli gruppi per gran parte del viaggio. Riceverai attenzione personale e l'esperienza più sicura che possiamo fornire. Al di là dei 180 anni di pionieri e taglialegna, prima dell'autostrada secolare, questa era la terra di popoli con una ricca mitologia. Raccontiamo le storie che ci sono state raccontate dagli indigeni nel miglior modo possibile. Visiterai le cascate, con escursioni impegnative e un approccio piacevole all'itinerario del tour. Vogliamo che tu ti diverta, sia che tu viaggi da solo o con un grande gruppo. Dai 13 anni in su. (Possiamo ospitare gruppi molto più grandi che viaggiano insieme, per favore contattaci!) Si prega di notare che ci sono auto che condividono l'autostrada panoramica.

Itinerario
Inizieremo preparandoti per le biciclette nel nostro negozio all'833 SE Main Street n. 121, prima di partire in comodi furgoni per l'escursione della giornata.
Dopo averti preparato per le biciclette nel nostro negozio, partiremo in uno dei nostri comodi furgoni. Il giro in bicicletta e l'escursione si svolgono entrambi nella Columbia River Gorge, all'estremità occidentale ricca di cascate di un canyon di 130 km. La strada che utilizziamo per il giro in bicicletta è una strada condivisa con le auto.
(O la Vista House / Chanticleer Point) Visita una bellissima vista della Columbia River Gorge, scatta foto e ascolta la storia di chi era qui prima di noi. Ti racconteremo anche come sono state create le cascate prima di salire sulle bici e iniziare a pedalare.
(O Horsetail Falls) Scendi dalla bici e inizia la vera immersione nella foresta, quella che i giapponesi chiamano Shinrin Yoku. Cammineremo intorno al torrente che contiene meravigliose cascate a tuffo, che cadono su strati di basalto colonnare e trabeazione di 15 milioni di anni, ricoperto di licheni e, secondo la leggenda locale, porta lo spirito di una principessa castoro che ha guidato un tragico vita. Ti invieremo a fare un'escursione preferita dalla gente del posto. Respira profondamente: sperimenterai la ricca varietà della foresta con tutto il suo potere curativo e le sue verità spirituali.
(O una cascata simile) Pedaleremo ancora un po', 2-4 miglia (3-6 km) prima di vedere uno dei punti panoramici più belli e poco visitati della Gola. In primavera è un tappeto di camas, un alimento autoctono.
Multnomah Falls è la cascata più alta dello stato e una delle più impressionanti e più fotografate cascate degli Stati Uniti. Se stai inseguendo le cascate: questo è quello che molti stanno cercando di catturare. Ci fermeremo alle cascate per le foto e per l'escursione di 1/4 km / 1/2 km dall'iconico Benson Bridge.

I had an amazing experience on the Hike and Bike Tour to the Columbia River Gorge Waterfalls! Our hosts, Angela and Sara, were fantastic—friendly, clear, and helpful throughout the entire tour. They made sure everyone was well prepared and knew exactly what to expect, which made the experience feel smooth and well organized. The tour itself was incredible. The refreshing breeze during the bike ride, beautiful scenery, and breathtaking views of the waterfalls made the whole experience truly memorable. We had a smaller group of around 10 people, which actually made the tour feel more relaxed and enjoyable. Overall, this experience was definitely worth the price. I would highly recommend it to friends and anyone looking for a fun, scenic, and memorable way to explore the Columbia River Gorge!
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ We had an amazing experience on this tour! Carrie was friendly, knowledgeable, and made the whole trip fun from start to finish. The scenery was absolutely beautiful, and we learned so much about Oregon along the way. Everything was well organized, and we never felt rushed. This tour and guide were excellent! Angela is great - very knowledgeable, fun, laid/back but kept us on track, friendly, and full of facts snd stories. The tour is perfect - a combo of biking and hiking with hiking no more than 1-3 miles at a time. I highly recommend this tour and guide.
This was the best tour we’ve taken anywhere in the world. Angela was an excellent guide, and she made the trip. She is extremely knowledgeable, laid/back but kept us on schedule, provided facts interesting to my teenage sons and was fun to be with. The tour itself is perfect - a combo of bike and then hike. No bike section was more than 3 miles. The scenic views are worth every minute. I highly recommend Angela and encourage you to specifically request her.
Guides, Sara and Angela were great with clear biking instructions. Easy access to location for bike fitting and van transportation to/from start/end points. Fabulous way to see the Columbia Gorge and waterfall area. Get out and experience nature!
We had a great time on our tour of area waterfalls. We did an afternoon tour. Carrie was a wonderful guide. She was very informative and provided lots of insight about the area.

This was a fun and visually beautiful tour. Our guide (Carrie!) was excellent and extremely knowledgeable. She did a great job of explaining the history of the region, formation of the waterfalls and also taught us a great deal about the vegetation. The tour was logistically smooth and was able to get us to 4 different waterfalls in just a few hours! We highly recommend this tour for anyone looking to see the beauty of the Columbia Gorge and its many waterfalls!
