We take safety, transparency, and accountability seriously, so we’re going to address you again on your fabricated story Prior to posting this, you contacted us demanding a refund for a guide fee that was clearly explained to you in advance. When that request was declined, the story suddenly evolved into claims of “unsafe operations,” “misleading services,” and overcrowding. To clarify: you did not pay for a private guide. A private guide is a premium service with a significantly higher fee. You declined that option, as well as objecting to the standard guided-diver fee required for divers without a buddy — a policy that was explained to you beforehand, is listed on our website, and is standard practice throughout the Florida Keys. We do not allow uncertified solo diving or force other paying divers to accept strangers as dive partners simply because someone doesn’t want to pay for a guide. As for the “chaotic” dive you described: the group size remained within normal operational standards, and divers and snorkelers were not conducted as one combined tour underwater. However, when a diver chooses not to follow the dive plan or remain with the group, their perception of the experience can become understandably disconnected from reality. Your claim that this was “unsafe” is especially ironic considering the only safety issue encountered that day stemmed from your refusal to follow instructions provided by the crew. Our staff acted appropriately, professionally, and in accordance with standard dive safety procedures at all times. The reefs are beautiful, the operation is organized, and the overwhelming majority of our divers understand that diving requires communication, accountability, and adherence to basic protocols — not entitlement when policies apply equally to everyone. At the end of the day, this review reads less like an honest assessment and more like retaliation for not receiving a refund after refusing agreed-upon terms. We stand fully behind our crew and our procedures, and while we genuinely wish you the best in finding an operation better suited to your expectations, it will not be ours as you are a irresponsible Scuba Diver and you should not be diving.
