In questo tour al Parco Nazionale del Monte Rainier c'è molta diversità dall'ambiente alpino alla vecchia foresta di crescita in quota inferiore. Guidiamo verso i punti salienti del parco e sperimenterai paesaggi e scenari diversi come ghiacciai, montagne, cascate, fiumi e alberi ad alto fusto nella foresta vecchia. Sarete in escursioni guidate più brevi nei punti di interesse. Nelle aree invernali del parco possono essere chiusi alcuni giorni e non tutti i punti salienti saranno accessibili a volte - da novembre a giugno verranno fornite ciaspole / ramponi quando necessario poiché c'è spesso neve sui sentieri in quei mesi.

Itinerario
Guidiamo verso il Parco Nazionale del Monte Rainier (2 ore) e facciamo un'escursione dal centro visitatori di Paradise per circa un miglio, dove facciamo un picnic vicino ad alcuni ghiacciai giganti. Quindi torniamo indietro di un miglio e guidiamo verso punti panoramici con vista panoramica e vediamo le cascate di Narada e Christine, foreste secolari con alberi millenari e i laghi di riflessione. Nella stagione invernale e primaverile (novembre-giugno) faremo le ciaspole piuttosto che le escursioni - nessuna esperienza richiesta.
Il ritiro e la consegna sono a Seattle, in centro.
In alternativa, pick up e drop off è vicino allo Space Needle, se richiesto.
Facciamo circa un miglio vicino ai ghiacciai nella zona del Paradiso in 5.500 piedi di elevazione. Qui si trova anche il principale centro visitatori nel Parco Nazionale del Monte Rainier.
Escursione al fondo delle Cascate Narada - 168 piedi di caduta vicino al Paradiso.
Vediamo i laghi di riflessione dove il monte Rainier si riflette spesso nel periodo estivo. In inverno il lago è ghiacciato e la strada è chiusa.
Vediamo le Cascate Christine sotto il vecchio ponte di pietra.
Camminiamo nella foresta di vecchia crescita nel Parco Nazionale vicino a Longmire in quota inferiore.

Susan was an excellent guide. She was very friendly, knowledgeable and you can tell she loves her job. Be prepared for a strenuous uphill walk/climb to gorgeous views of the mountain and surrounding areas. We throughly enjoyed our day!! Thank you.

It was a good, interesting and very scenic trip to mt. Rainier with a very nice guide. She was kind and gave enough information about things we saw.
It was an amazing trip out to Mt Rainer and around that area. Susan the guide was amazing. If anyone is looking for a nice day trip out of the city this trip is well worth the money. Make sure you get Susan as a guide she will get you your money’s worth and she is very Knowledgeable about the area and the picnic on the Mountain was incredible. Little bit of an incline that will give your legs a work out.
Great experience!! Wear shoes you can hike in. The first part is steep and not a walk in the park. Susan was our guide and she was awesome. Only recommendation we had is to add another stop towards the late afternoon for people to get snacks. Getting food at 8am for your lunch spot and not eating again until after you get dropped off past 7p is too logical and makes for a grouchy group!
Susan and Anthony (our guide) were very nice, informative and clearly enjoy what they do. The tour was pretty complete for a day-trip: we saw all the main attractions of the park and did a gorgeous 3-mile uphill hike. Great experience, thanks!
Susan was beyond Amazing, very knowledgeable. I traveled with my teen daughters. The first hike was hard for me due to all the incline,but Susan was patient with some of our group. She made the hike seam so easy. Beautiful views and amazing stops. Will definitely book again with her as our guide.
