Itinerario
Questa è una moschea attiva del 17° secolo e la più visitata in Turchia. Il nome originale è la moschea di Sultanahmet. Il blu è il nome dato a causa delle tessere blu utilizzate all'interno. * è stato chiuso per lavori di ristrutturazione negli ultimi 6 anni ma è aperto dal 21 aprile.
Questa è la base dell'ippodromo romano che fu costruito nel 4 secolo dC per le corse dei carri. I monumenti sopravvissuti sono l'obelisco egizio (1500 aC) Colonna del serpente (V secolo aC), colonna di Costantino (secolo d.C.).
Questo è un serbatoio d'acqua che sembra un palazzo sotterraneo. Basilica Cisterna uno dei più imponenti esempi di architettura romana. Da non perdere una passeggiata fino alla fine per vedere le gigantesche teste di Medusa capovolte.

Visiteremo il Grand bazar dall'interno dove la tua guida ti darà alcuni consigli sullo shopping. Il tour terminerà nelle vicinanze dove potrete tornare per fare shopping. Siete pregati di notare che il Grand bazaar è chiuso la domenica, quindi verrà sostituito con il bazar delle spezie. Inoltre, entrambi i bazar sono chiusi durante le feste religiose due volte all'anno e in quei giorni sarà sostituito con il bazar Arasta.
Questo è un ottimo modo per vedere e imparare come sono fatti i tappeti turchi fatti a mano. Si tratta di un negozio adatto in un Caravanserraglio vecchio di 500 anni (antico albergo ). Ciò che rende questo posto diverso dagli altri è che non sono insistenti sulla vendita, affidabili sui tappeti di qualità e spedizione per chi acquista. Questa è un'attività facoltativa alla fine del tour quindi solo coloro che sono interessati si uniranno.

Beyhan was fantastic. Very worthwhile having a guide for these sites. I learnt so much. Good pace, lots of knowledge, and very kind guide who also went above and beyond for my elderly mother and guided us back to our hotel after the tour had ended. Highly recommend.
Excellent half day tour of 4 of the major sites of Istanbul. My guide, Beyhan, was very friendly, knowledgeable, accommodating & fun. She explained everything about each stop in detail. The tour moved at just the right pace. We ended with stopping for coffee/tea at a local coffee house & then walking through the Grand Bazaar. Highly recommend.

This tour was really insightful. It’s always great to get a local guide who understands and love the culture. Beyhan was knowledgeable and fun, she was charming and patient and I would definitely recommend this tour and guide. Turkey has so much history and doing an unguided tour is not recommended- you will miss deep insights and personal stories which we truly appreciated.
