Iniziamo il nostro viaggio dal centro di Alicante in un'auto confortevole. Durante un breve viaggio di 20-30 minuti godrai di splendide viste sulle montagne. Il momento clou del nostro viaggio è una visita guidata alla Grotta Canelobre che ha più di 100.000 anni. Per accedervi attraversiamo un tunnel di circa 45 metri. Insieme ad una guida in inglese e spagnolo viaggeremo nel passato. Scopriremo come l'acqua e la roccia hanno dato origine a forme impressionanti come stalattiti, stalagmiti, colonne e meduse, tra molte altre. Sapremo da dove deriva il nome della grotta e cosa significa la parola 'canelobre'. Dopo il tour, puoi visitare un negozio di artigianato in pietra per scegliere alcuni regali per te o la tua famiglia

The transportation element of the tour is the most important part, as this site is off the beaten track. The tour of the cave itself is given by representatives of the cave, not the tour operator. After the 1-hour tour in the cave, which the representative gave in both Spanish and English, our tour operator took us into the town of Busot and shared a few facts about it before walking us to the Museum of Ethnic Instruments, where we self-guided ourselves around this interesting, well-appointed museum. Afterwards, we were instructed to take as much time as we wanted to wander around the town. It would have been helpful to have had a map with a route identified to follow with landmarks so that we could appreciate the beauty of this charming town. Overall, this was one of the most basic tours we've ever taken, and we were underwhelmed by it even though the cave itself was spectacular.
Dear David! Thanks for your review, although critical. We are glad that you liked the cave and our transport service. In the village of Busot, you asked for extra time to walk around the village. You were given an additional time that you could inspect the beautiful Spanish village. This extra time was not part of the tour program. While you walked around the village, our driver was waiting for you and it was free for you. Since an extra walk is not included in the tour program - you were not provided with a village map.
It was a great experience, and quick drive from Alicante to the amazing cave, then to a small village music museum.

Completely useless visit. The cellars are lit by spots of color. No more or less 40 minutes of inaudible guide and forbidden photos!!! Go your way. The guide speaks very little or no English.

Everything went well, we’re picked up at our property. Myself and my son enjoyed the trip and spectacular views of caves. Would recommend to visit.
