Itinerario
07:30 Prelievo in hotel e partenza per la regione dello Champagne. Il viaggio dura circa 2 ore (140 km) e una parte si snoda lungo i pittoreschi paesaggi e vigneti della Champagne. Verrà effettuata una sosta in un'area di sosta.
10:00 - 11:30 Champagne Taittinger. L'opzione AVANZATA "Instin Gourmet" include: Cantine Taittinger guidate visitano, max 14 persone, 1,5, la degustazione dei blend iconici come il Prestige Rosé e il Brut Millésime con una selezione di tartine appositamente realizzate per abbinarsi ai nostri blend iconici.
11:40 - 12:10 Visita autoguidata della Cattedrale di Reims, dove furono incoronati la maggior parte dei re francesi.
12:10 - 14:00 Pausa pranzo a Reims. Puoi trascorrere del tempo tutto tuo oppure possiamo prenotare un ristorante per te.
14:00 - 16:00 Veuve Clicquot Visita alla casa dello champagne. Esiste dal 1772 Veuve Clicquot produce oggi più di 22 milioni di bottiglie all'anno ed è uno dei maggiori produttori. La visita guidata fatta dallo staff di Veuve Clicquot ti offre una grande visione della storia e del metodo di produzione dello Champagne. Great day trip experience for seeing popular champagne houses. Our driver was top notch. It was fun to learn the history, see and hear about the process and of course, taste champagne!!
Very easy trip. Just booked it and then didn’t worry about any more logistics for the whole day. We went to Veuve Clicquot, the Reims Cathedral and town, and Taittinger. No hassle, no stress
We absolutely loved this trip, but there were a few things that could be improved, hence the 4 star rating The best bits: we loved the stop off at Reims Notre-Dame Cathedral - stunning building and we were lucky enough to see an actual church service happening. We also had a fab lunch in a local brasserie. We utterly loved the Veuve Cliquot house tour - the guide was fantastic, so informative, stylish and fun - the tour so interesting, site and shop fab, and champagne beautiful. A bucket list trip! The could be betters: our driver could speak pretty much no english, to the point he couldn’t even tell us times to meet him. If we had a guide with basic english who could tell us where to go and when to meet or suggest places to see when dropped off it would make a huge difference. Instead, he basically kept stopping the car at unknown locations and just indicating we should get out and come back. Also, the description does say the Tattinger cellars are shut but doesn’t really explain what this means. What it does mean is that the Tattinger Champagne house, ie the entire Tattinger tourist site with the cellars underneath are closed and, instead, they take you to an old house that is related to the Tattinger family. We were the only two people on the “tour” which consisted of a staff member talking to us briefly about the champagne, a 20 minute audio clip we listened to while awkwardly reading a booklet and drinking our champagne. It was nice enough but they really should make clearer what you’re actually getting. Lastly, timings. We were picked up at 7.30am and arrived iin Reims about 9.15 but our tour didn’t start until 11.20, which meant A LOT of hanging about when the town was largely closed as it was Sunday. The trip really needs to look at timings to prevent hanging about unnecessarily. All in, we did love this trip but mainly because the Veuve tour is just so fabulous. Pricey for what you get but still lovely.
