Ci sono due giardini distinti sulla proprietà di Claude Monet. L'adorabile Clos Normand ha centinaia di tipi di fiori che sbocciano durante la primavera, l'estate e l'autunno. Ninfee!!! Il giardino giapponese della tenuta di Claude Monet è il più famoso in quanto ha un ponte verde e uno stagno pieno di ninfee. La tua guida ti condurrà direttamente ad esso e ti aiuterà a ottenere le migliori foto ricordo! Vedrai i punti precisi da cui Monet dipinse e confronterai i dipinti con ciò che vedi nella vita reale.
La casa colorata di Monet: Claude Monet ha vissuto qui per più di 40 anni e ha cresciuto 8 figli. All'interno vedrai il suo laboratorio artistico, nonché l'arredamento personale e la pittura colorata che ha messo in ogni stanza. I gruppi non sono ammessi in casa in quanto lo spazio è molto limitato all'interno. Quindi, ti verrà dato del tempo libero per esplorare l'interno da solo.
Visita alla tomba: visita l'ultima dimora di Claude Monet e rendi omaggio al grande uomo stesso. La sua tomba è nascosta nel cimitero di una piccola chiesa di campagna. La tua guida ti porterà lì e condividerà molte delle storie di vita di Monet che sono andate oltre la sua arte ma l'hanno comunque influenzata.

We met Ryan at a café very near the Arc de Triomphe and he gave us information about the day and the area on the way to Giverney. We toured Monet’s family gravesite and then once inside the entrance, we visited the house and gardens on our own. It was well worth it to be in a small group. Although it was crowded, I was most impressed with the pond. It felt like you could be stepping in one of his paintings. The garden was also magnificent. A highlight of my trip! I would highly recommend this activity.

Beauty of gardens met expectations but didn’t anticipate the crowds, which made it hard to move comfortably through the spaces. Guide was very friendly but only accompanied group to first stop—cemetery where Monet is buried—and left us to explore gardens and home on our own. Very informative presentation at cemetery but expected more interaction in gardens for price of tickets ($150/each). Young, fun guide but demeanor/presentation not as “polished” as some of the other guides we had.

Easy way to go see the gardens from Paris. My guide was informative and helpful. Made the experience easy and had time to explore the gardens and house once there.
This is a great tour company. The guides are great, knowledgeable and handy, and the van is an easy, comfy way to tour. Highly recommend and Giverny is such a beautiful place!

It was a great tour to Giverny with Sarena. She was very informative. Would not have seen the church or the burial site if not for the tour. Vehicle was comfortable. Sarena was able to create a comfortable time for a tour with strangers.
Our afternoon trip to Giverny was perfect in every way. I appreciated the comfortable van ride but even more, our guide’s breadth of knowledge and his experience around the best approach to managing our time with respect to the crowds at the house, gardens and gravesite. He did an outstanding job with pleasant good humor all day. And he knows a lot about Claude Monet! To top it off he recommended a favorite local restaurant of his to end our wonderful day! This tour was a true gem. Our group of 8 were driven in an air conditioned van to Giverny, Normandy by our wonderful guide Serena. She was very knowledgeable, friendly and enthusiastic. She happily answered all our questions and gave us wonderful tips. My husband, a history buff, truly appreciated the stop at the old church and cemetery where Monet and some D-Day heroes were memorialized. We were given time to explore Monet’s house and gorgeous garden at our own pace. As a gardener I was blown away by the pond and multitude of beautiful flowers. I also enjoyed shopping at the gift shop for souvenirs and grabbing a lunch to go at another shop on the estate grounds. We were able to rest on our ride back to Paris. Overall we had a delightful trip and definitely recommend this tour
