The places were beautiful but our tour guides were not very helpful or engaging. We were traded off three times with different guides, so we never got to know much about where we were or who they were. Additionally, our tour guide at Versailles spent an extraordinary amount of time discussing art (which is fine but we were on a time crunch and I personally wanted more history, given the locations). Do yourself a favor and when you go out to the gardens at Versailles, rent a golf cart(not included with your tour but worth the extra money). My husband and I had fun driving around the grounds!
A lot of talking on the bus by the guide on the drive from Versailles to Giverny. This can be challenging when all you want to do is take a power nap. The Versailles gardens portion should be shortened by 30 min to 1hr to spend more time exploring Giverny and for the guide to give us the very interesting history at the site.

Special thanks to Abi, her thoroughness in giving directions was great. After the tour she saw I was having trouble with my Metro pass and went out of her way to assist me, much appreciated.
Excellent guides, Gregory and Pablo both were sweet and very informative. Fun time with them. The only thing I would change in the tour is making it shorter, the 3-hour timeframe for exploring the gardens of Versailles was stretched. Otherwise, the logistics was done very well and the guides were really nice!!
The tour went very well. Albert was our tour guide at Versailles and he was very knowledgeable and cordial. In the afternoon we traveled with Kadir who was very friendly, polite and shared very valuable information on our way to Minet’s garden. His instructions were clear and easy to follow. The bus was comfortable and gave us time to relax in between visits. I highly recommend this experience if you are in Paris and planning a day trip.
Omar was extremely informative and very interesting. He made the trip well worth going with his knowledge of history. Excellent guide!!! I would highly recommend another tour with him 😊
The drive from Paris is about 1 hour. Daniel was knowledgeable and had a large flag to make it easy to spot him in a crowd. The information he shared went above and beyond the basics. He also gave local recommendations for where to eat/ visit in Paris. You can tell he enjoys what he does and it was nice to be lead by him for this time! Would absolutely recommend! My personal recommendation for him is to have the group stand to the side when stopped so we are not blocking the entire walking path also, I don’t know if this is allowed, but I would sell bottle water on the bus for 1€. I would have enjoyed being able to support local and have water on the bus. What a beautiful and thoughtfully planned garden. The audio guide was intriguing when it revealed the raw, angrier side of Monet. It showed me that he, although massively talented, is still a broken man. I liked seeing the detail in the designs of the gardens and the smells of the various flowers while walking. His home took you back in time and showed you this family’s appreciation for color. Important details: There are several uneven walkways- and visiting the house requires you to go up stairs. I would recommend wearing comfortable shoes. There are several benches throughout and you can take lots of breaks when necessary. Several cafes/ restaurants. A bit pricy in my opinion. Around 4.50€ for a pastry. All in all this trip was worth it and I am glad I was able to come. For the garden alone it was worth it. Happy planning!
Beautiful gardens and an unforgettable day! 🌸🎨 The gardens were absolutely breathtaking and every bit as magical as you'd imagine. The one hour bus ride flew by thanks to our fantastic tour guide, Daniel, who kept us entertained with fascinating stories, fun facts and plenty of laughs along the way. It was a very hot day and the gardens were busy, but once you're surrounded by the incredible flowers, water lilies and picture perfect scenery, it's easy to see why it's such a popular destination. Every corner felt like stepping into one of Monet's paintings. A wonderful day trip from Paris that's absolutely worth it. Highly recommend.
