Con questo tour avrai la possibilità di vedere le incredibili rocce di Belogradchik - un fenomeno naturale - e l'antica fortezza situata accanto ad esse. La maggior parte dei viaggi vengono effettuati con auto ecologiche, con motore a metano o cellulari elettrici, in modo da poter combattere l'inquinamento atmosferico.

Itinerario
Le rocce di Belogradchik formano una striscia di 3 km di larghezza e 30 di lunghezza e le formazioni rocciose raggiungono i 200 metri di altezza. Erano formati sul fondo di un mare come il prodotto della compressione circa 230 milioni di anni fa e poi l'erosione negli ultimi 45 milioni di anni. Le rocce, fatte in gran parte di pietra calcarea, contengono anche centinaia di grotte. Ognuno viene con una storia. Ogni formazione rocciosa porta un nome: Adamo ed Eva, La Scolara, L'Orso, Il pastore, Il Derviscio, La prima lastra, Il cammello, I funghi, Il cuculo, Il muro rosso, La Madonna, Il cavaliere, I monaci, La pietra mentale, il Rebel Velko, la pietra di pino e così via.
La fortezza vicino alle rocce fu costruita nel Medioevo con lo scopo di controllare la strada che va da Sofia al Danubio. Avrai la possibilità di esplorarlo con una visita guidata.

Our driver was watching you tube on his lap whine he was driving us. Crossing over the center line that divides the lanes countless times. The tour otherwise was as described and we had no issues with the itinerary. However the driving was very unsafe.
My husband and I loved Belogradchik. It’s so beautiful out there and we had a great experience with our tour guide Yulian. He had a lot of knowledge of that place and of Bulgaria’s history. He was very friendly and punctual. We recommend taking this tour company and tour guide. :-)

It was a nice experience to be here as surroundings were awesome. After reaching on the top everything was amazing. It’s good to book private tour to visit here from Sofia due to 3-4hrs of drive for one side and by public transport it would be hard to get back on same day. Our tour guide was nice as he also took us some other photography places too. It wasn’t too crowded so we easily covered all the spots.

This was a great day trip. The scenery is spectacular - quite other worldly, as is the fortress. Our guide, Angel, spoke very good English, had a lot of information to share, and was a good driver. He also knew of a hidden overlook that gave us a panoramic view of the geology. The car was comfortable as well. We've been exploring Bulgaria for two weeks and this was probably our favorite destination. You shouldn't miss it!

A very impressive site. There are some steep steps and not all of it is suitable if you don't like heights. Most of it is accessible to people with average fitness/mobility. Well worth a visit to see the stunning rocks and scenery.
