Secondo la tradizione il Monastero di Geghard fu fondato da San Gregorio nel IV secolo sul luogo di una sorgente sacra. Le attuali costruzioni del monastero, parzialmente scavate nella roccia, risalgono al XIII secolo. Il carattere peculiare della costruzione si riflette nella sua austerità e nel magnifico scenario naturale del canyon, circondato da precipizi e scogliere ricurve. Il complesso monastico di Geghard è iscritto nella lista del patrimonio mondiale dell'UNESCO.
Il tempio di Garni è l'unico tempio pagano conservato nell'intero territorio del Caucaso. La costruzione risale alla seconda metà del I secolo ed era dedicata al Dio Sole. Dopo la cristianizzazione dell'Armenia, il tempio fu utilizzato come residenza reale.
Symphony of Stones è un monumento naturale e protetto dalla legge. Questo è uno dei luoghi imperdibili dell'Armenia.
Il monastero di Sevanavank è composto da due chiese risalenti al IX secolo. Il monastero si trova sulla penisola del lago Sevan che era un'isola. Dalla penisola si gode una bellissima vista del Lago Sevan, che è il gioiello dell'Armenia e il secondo lago d'acqua dolce più alto del mondo. Fabulous . Went in the December 2025 .This has by far been our best experience with any tour company have booked with across our many travels. Maria and her team were only fabulous and our guide Edik was one of the best we have had. The entire team was always making sure we had a comfortable trip and this particular half day trip to Garni,Geghard and lake Sevan was spectacular. Highly recommend.

We had a great time in this tour ! The car was very nice and clean , the driver was very friendly and stopped everywhere we wanted to take some photos, and the attractions were amazing. Garni temple is very impressive , Geghard monastery also was very interesting and in nice location and the lake sevan was something very exciting. Even if it was snowing we had great time and we were very comfortable. So if you have a limited time in Yerevan and you want to visit this three attractions in one day we highly recommend this tour !

My visit to Armenia has been one of the best experiences of my life. To know a country with so much history and such a rich culture was like a dream.
