L'edificio esteticamente deformato e intrecciato ricorda un tessuto intrecciato e ospita un auditorium da 150 posti, una biblioteca di ricerca, una libreria e un bar con terrazza che serve snack leggeri. Il Museo Berbero, inaugurato nel 2011 sotto l'Alto Patronato di Sua Maestà Mohammed VI, Re del Marocco, è ospitato nell'ex studio di pittura dell'artista Jacques Majorelle. Presenta un panorama della straordinaria creatività dei berberi (Imazighen).

Il Museo Berbero, inaugurato nel 2011 sotto l'Alto Patronato di Sua Maestà Mohammed VI, Re del Marocco, è ospitato nell'ex studio di pittura dell'artista Jacques Majorelle. Presenta un panorama della straordinaria creatività dei berberi (Imazighen), il popolo più antico del Nord Africa. Più di 600 oggetti, raccolti dalle montagne del Rif al Sahara da Pierre Bergé e Yves Saint Laurent, attestano la ricchezza e la diversità di questa vibrante cultura, che è ancora molto viva oggi.

Our driver, Rachid, was punctual and courteous in our voyage to the Majorelle Garden and St. Laurent and Berber Museums. It was easy to coordinate pick up from our villa and he was able to drop us back off after we were finished. Going the extra mile, he even recommended a lunch spot for a part of our group who said they enjoyed their meal! This self-guided tour took about 2 hours, which was just enough time to appreciate the sights and sounds of the Majorelle Garden. and the YSL museum. We went early in the morning so the crowds were not particularly dense.
One day in advance we received a message via Tripadvisor. The Berber Museum was temporarily closed. It was suggested to give extra time for shopping. We didn't go into that. There has been no further compensation for this admission ticket. Communication with the driver was smooth. Appointments for pickup were correct. There was no water in the bus, while this was in the description. Jardin Majorelle was very nice and worth visiting. The YSL museum was previously limited. You'll get through pretty quickly.
