This was one of the great tours of this type that we have done. The four of us were joined by a delightful young couple from London and our guide Eric met us as arranged in Marseille. Eric is simply a star. His English is first class and idiomatic but he delivers it with an exotic French accent which is a joy to listen to. He was a fund of information about the areas we travelled through and he even pointed out to us the district where Zinedine Zidane grew up. Then Eric reached zenith point in my esteem when he said that as a teenager he had even played in games against the young Zizu! Wow. Our weather was horrible but this didn’t matter. Our visit to the first winery and cheese makers was fascinating and the cheese and wines were lovely. We bought some. Then lunch in a rain lashed Aix was great fun and good value. In the afternoon Eric picked us up again for our second winery where we again were entertainingly informed about processes and production. Into a comfortable tasting salon where we sampled wines under Eric’s careful yet humorous guidance. Six wines. All different. No pressure was placed on us to buy but we simply had to grab a couple of bottles despite adding substantially to our suitcase weights for our journey home. Thanks Eric for a wonderful day. If we could award six stars we would.

Absolutely wonderful. We stayed at the intercontinental marseille and the pickup was right in front of the hotel. Amazing guide, wonderful wine and cheese, and Aix was so far my most favorite French town of them all. Perfect way to make a stay in Marseille also include Provence and Aix and wine tasting and cheese.

Just a 40-minute drive from Marseille, a phenomenal experience awaited. I learned so much about winemaking processes, goat cheese varieties, along with local art and culture tips. Thanks to our host, Eric, who was terrific with every detail.

Wonderful guide who was very knowledgeable in the field. The guide also told us a lot about the landscape and villages we went through. The goat cheese was wonderfully good along with the local wine. Highly recommended.

My wife and I had an absolutely incredible time on our winery and goat cheese farm tour with Provence Wine Tours! Our guide Eric was super informative with the history of Marseille along with Provence and shared a bunch of knowledge of wine from the region. Plus the wine and cheese we got to try were fantastic. Can't recommend a trip with them enough!
We're very happy you enjoyed your experience with us ! Your review made our day. It was lovely exploring Provence off the beaten path with you and make you discovering unique local wines and cheese. Many thanks again, and we hope to welcome you on your next visit. Cheers !
Our driver, Eric, was very knowledgeable and spoke excellent English. We learned quite a bit about wine in Provence, and enjoyed both the wine and cheese immensely.
Becca, thank you for your warm feedback. It was our honor to host you, and we’re glad you enjoyed our special wine & cheese tour. We hope to see you again in Provence soon!
Driver, Eric, was great. Very accommodating. Limited wine and cheese, more should be offered. The second stop didn’t have cheese at all and kept us secluded to one area of the restaurant even though no other patrons were there.
Dear Bridget, Thank you for your feedback. We're glad to hear you appreciated Eric's service. However, we can understand your concerns and we're sorry you didn't take full advantage of your visit. Please, note that this tour only includes one goat cheese farm in the morning and one winery in the afternoon. (That's why there was no cheese tasting at the second estate, as mentioned in the program description). Then, the second winery has specially designed a tasting area in a corner of the restaurant to ensure a warm, comfortable experience with seating available. We're sorry it didn't meet with your expectations. We hope to welcome you again in Provence on another tour. Cheers
We had an excellent day with Eric his knowledge on the history of the area and the production of the wine left us with lots of memorable fun facts and information. Along with this he was very friendly and personable. Overall we had an excellent day exploring the area and trying some fantastic wines and cheeses.
Dear Benjamin, Thank you for your nice review ! We're so glad you had a great day with our guide and enjoyed the wines and cheeses. We're also delighted that you have excellent memories of your day in the heart of Provence. Looking forward to seeing you again!
