Durante la mattinata, vieni prelevato dal tuo hotel a Cusco per visitare la città di Chinchero, un centro urbano tradizionale di Cusco situato in un punto elevato con una splendida vista sulla valle. Gli abitanti di questa zona conservano le tradizioni artigianali e la conoscenza ereditata degli Incas. Ci sono anche resti archeologici e una bella chiesa del XVII secolo. Quindi, vieni trasferito al Living Museum di Yucay. Un centro di interpretazione delle tradizioni andine, dove le dimostrazioni dell'elaborazione del lavoro tessile, adobe, ceramiche e argenteria si svolgono nello stesso modo in cui erano soliti nell'antichità. Trasferimento a Ollantaytambo dove avete tempo libero per il pranzo. Dopo questo, visita la città e il sito archeologico locale, abitato ininterrottamente dai tempi Inca, e scalare la fortezza iconica, costruita accanto a una montagna. Chinchero si trova a 28 km dalla città di Cusco, a 3.780 metri sul livello del mare. La sua piazza principale è una straordinaria fusione tra Inca e architettura coloniale. La sua chiesa è uno dei migliori esempi di arte religiosa di Cusco, fu costruita su mura Inca, con un altare decorato in foglia d'oro in stile barocco.
Si tratta di un centro interpretazioni tradizioni andine dove si possono vedere dimostrazioni dell'elaborazione del lavoro tessile, argenteria e ceramica.
Ollantaytambo, un tipico esempio di pianificazione urbana degli Incas ancora abitata come in passato. Qui troverai un grande complesso archeologico chiamato fortezza sebbene fosse un tambo, un luogo di riposo e alloggio per i viaggiatori a lunga distanza.

I made this excursion inside a guided circuit. The Guide of this tour, Juan, explained well, but unfortunately I would not recommend this tour. It doesn’t seem logical for me to spend just 2 hours in total visiting the archaeological sites of interest, Chinchero and Ollantaytambo (without leaving even a moment free and also doing it on horseback), 1 hour to eat, and the rest of the day (almost 4 hours) to visit obligatory commercial premises, in which it is clear that the Guide or the agency take some kind of profit. Especially when half the group had already visited a similar place the previous day (textile center). I also consider that excessive time is wasted in picking up and transferring tourists to the various hotels (about 1 hour), rather than having a common hotel for everyone.
This tour we loved, the best has been the archaeological site of Ollantaytambo and Chinchero. Also the visit to the community of weavers has been very interesting. But I think the Yucay Museum can be taken off the tour, it did not bring us anything new to what we had already been seeing and learning from the Inca culture. Lunch was very good and complete. I highlight our Guide Saul, a very polite person with a lot of knowledge of the history of the place.

Very little time to visit historical places, spending too much in alpaca wool stores that do not contribute anything.
Good and educational experience. Tourist guide knowledgeable about the areas visited and explained in a simple way. The only thing that the Agency must coordinate is for one of its employees to accompany us in the process of boarding the train to Machupicchu. Our experience was not good on boarding.
The organization was impeccable, they met the schedules, the delicious lunch in a beautiful hotel and the accompaniment of the guide Larry, very generous with his stories, experiences and friendliness.
