Ccaccaccollo è una di quelle piccole e pittoresche città perdute nelle Ande peruviane. Lì, circa 50 famiglie vivono di agricoltura e tessuti. Le donne tessono e gli uomini sono responsabili della fattoria. Le donne ricevettero la trasmissione dalla madre o dalla nonna, che a sua volta la ricevettero dalla madre; e così via. Qui avremo la grande opportunità di partecipare a un discorso e una dimostrazione su come il tessuto viene prodotto e prodotto da anni. Ma non solo guardare ma essere coinvolti e interpretare i diversi stili e forme sui tessuti che hanno realizzato da centinaia di anni fa.

Qui avremo la grande opportunità di assistere a una dimostrazione su come il tessuto è realizzato e prodotto da anni. Ma non solo guardare ma essere coinvolti e interpretare i diversi stili e forme sui tessuti che hanno realizzato da centinaia di anni fa. Un membro di una delle famiglie ci dirà in quechua (traduzione in inglese); le migliori tecniche per comprendere i segreti dell'iconografia tradizionale. Osserveremo tutto il processo dalla tosatura della lana, dalla filatura, dal lavaggio della lana con sapone naturale, dalla raccolta di piante e fiori usati per la tintura naturale, per questo una guida locale ci indirizzerà e ci dirà quali piante faremo raccoglieremo per questo scopo e finalmente vedremo il processo di tessitura dei vestiti.
Successivamente, visita il colorato mercato indiano di Pisac, dove puoi cercare e acquistare alcuni souvenir locali, se lo desideri. Continua a guidare verso le rovine di Pisac, dove puoi esplorare le vaste rovine e godere di una vista mozzafiato sulla valle. Qui ti verrà data una visita guidata della Cittadella di Pisac, in cui vedrai le rovine di templi, case, altari, sculture, tunnel, grotte e la famosa Intihuatana. Intihuatana, il luogo in cui il sole viene legato, è una costruzione religiosa usata come un orologio per misurare quando era il momento di celebrare il solstizio d'inverno - una delle celebrazioni e dei riti più importanti dell'antico Impero Inca. Per coloro che preferiscono trascorrere più tempo al mercato invece di visitare le rovine, si prega di avvisare la guida in modo che possano organizzare un momento e un luogo per ritirarti quando si ritorna oltre il mercato.
Successivamente, è tempo di visitare Ollantaytambo. Le strade strette insieme ai loro canali non sono cambiate molto dai tempi dell'Impero Inca. Alla fine del tour, ti lasceremo al tuo hotel.

What a fantastic day travelling through the Sacred Valley with our guide Corina Durann. Her knowledge of the area and its history is amazing and we learned so much from her. The weaving demonstration at Ccaccaccollo was a highlight. It was entertaining and informative and we were shown such hospitality. As part of our Machu Picchu 7 day trip we had this tour included. We were able to see women show the traditional techniques of cleaning, weaving and dying the wool, feed the Alpacas and get some tea for a Sole.
